Belleisle Park - Seafield
About
Seafield Golf Club is an 18-hole cliff-top parkland golf course built to take advantage of the natural surroundings. The golf course was designed by Peter McEvoy and opened in 2003.
Seafield's mature woodlands and water hazards of the front nine are in stark contrast to the long fairways, crosswinds and bunkers through the back nine down toward the sea and the stunning cliff-top tees on the 11th and 17th holes. The 425-yard 18th brings play back to the panoramic views from the Seafield clubhouse.

A Perfect Day
Played here during a touring caravan holiday partnered by my lady wife. Having paid a very reasonable green fee I was concerned that the course might not be up to much. How wrong could I be! While this was by no means a championship course it was well laid out and offered many challenges. There were no par 5s but the par 3's and 4s were excellent. One thing I particularly liked was the fact that the course opens with 5 parkland type holes. These are followed by 8 links style holes and the last 5 are back to parkland. My wife, who only plays casually, said this was the best round of golf she had ever experienced. For myself I found the course very well looked after with fairways and greens in excellent condition. Off course the welcome in the clubhouse and pro's shop was first class and the small cafe served excellent coffee afterwards. We'll be back on our next visit to the area.
