Really Enjoyable day

We had a great day at Irvine Bogside, right from arrival we received a warm welcome from the professional then got a tour by Jim a past captain, place is steeped in history.

The course was excellent, I've played on links courses all over Scotland and these are the best I've putted on, very true and quick. The course requires good strategy off the tee which caught us out once or twice but really enjoyed the challenge.

Afterward we went in for lunch which was top class. Will definitely be back.

Not sure if you are aware that by leaving a review you were entered into a draw for a four ball voucher. Delighted to inform you that you have won it and I would be delighted to post it out to you.

Either phone or email the club with your address.

Congratulations.

A great course to play with a mixture of links and parkland. It’s a short course but plenty of bunkers and narrowish fairways make it challenging enough.

Despite being wet the condition of the course was excellent.

The pro shop and clubhouse staff were exceptionally friendly too.

Excellent course, book up!

Fantastic course but extremely difficult for an average golfer. Staff and members were all extremely friendly and can't wait to play again.

One constructive comment - I tried to call the club 5 days in a row to book a golf buggy and no one picked up the phone. I also emailed and haven't had a response. They only have four golf buggys so if they could answer the phone that is the only negative.

Don't miss out

A very hot 🔥 and sunny 🌞 day to play this great course. Course playing short due to recent good weather 😉 Pace good 4hrs 10 minutes for 4ball. My only negative was felt greens weren't up to usual standards. If you can get it booked to play especially with the hot picks

Great experience all round, club house was traditional and welcoming and food was good and reasonably priced. Course was varied and interesting and there are more than a few holes you would play differently next time around
