A really cracking course in perfect condition. Well layed out with a great mix of holes.

The scenery is beautiful.

We got a good deal through golf now however I would happily pay full price to play here.

Although this course is a 66 pt it offers some challenges along the way. There are some tricky but beautiful par 3’s. one in particular is difficult to par due to it being up a very long hill. The other holes are reachable for the par and with the correct club selection offers the opportunity for birdies. The par 4’s are set at the correct difficulty level for amateur golfers and offer some tricky approaches. The course is very well kept and the greens are immaculate, easy to read but a good degree of diversity and difficulty with them. A beautiful but challenging course that I would definitely play again.

Balmore please

Cracking day at Balmore. The welcome from the pro shop was excellent and genuine. For such a well maintained course the pace of play and groups booked was excellent. A guid few par 3's but none of them were easy in the breeze and the par 4's while reachable in standard were precise and greens well protected. Bunkers well placed but lovely soft sand. Greens in good condition but a bit of speed variance I think based on where they were and exposed to wind and sun. A few blind drives that need course experience but holes well mapped and sign posted. Great value given it was £17pp. Clubhouse open and looks over the 18th so a nice place to finish up and have a drink.
