Clober Golf Club

Played the course with my good friend. We are both over 60 and start to finish, a great day out. Course in fantastic condition. Not long distance wise which suited both of us.

Two major hills to negotiate which does knock the wind out your sales if your older.

Only other negative is when our round was finished at approximately 2pm. Tried to order food at the clubhouse

and was told no food available which was a touch disappointing. But overall a great experience with friendly people throughout.

We enjoyed our first ever round at Clober credit to ground staff course was immaculate and the baking sun made the fairways bounce add to drives.

The course could do with some more guidance on where to find the next Tee we got a bit lost after 5th and 9th which slowed us down a bit however the scorecard map does show you where you should go.

We managed to reserve at £23 however £35 tee off times would put us off as we have played some other nice courses at this price range.

Never made the club house but any staff we spoke to were very friendly and helpful

Defo worth going back to if price is right

A last minute choice of course, paid less than £20. Fantastic value for money, course played really well considering the amount of rain over the weekend . Will definitely be going back, really enjoyed it.

A very tight course which at points is poorly maintained. Some holes offer a good challenge but theres a section in the middle wihere you are playing ontop of about 4 other groups.

Worst part is the patrons, encountered a four ball who insisted on playing through. Extremely aggressive and the reason people avoided the sport for a while. Of course they then slowed us down for the rest of the round.

Would avoid this course, im sure some patrons are sound but theres far better courses this side of Glasgow without aggresive members.

Lovely course in great condition considering the preceding days terrible weather. Friendly members and staff.

Nice course to play.

It's quite a short course, but has a few challenging holes, and a couple of steep hills.

There's a few holes that aren't marked too well, but the members where all helpful, and friendly enough to point us in the right direction.

Great course, very quirky. Some very challenging holes for a beginner. I’d definitely recommend though.

Day was ruined by a guy playing behind us who who thought he was better than everybody - even hitting into us missing us by meters. Condescending from even before the round. Won’t be back

Was made to feel very welcome on and off the course. Stayed on for a few pints and was treated like a member other than a visitor. Wonderful course, will definitely play again and possibly join.

There was massive delays we had four groups on the 8th tee h waiting to tee off. Course was playing well but I dont think they should take so many bookings especially when they have a club competition taking place. I just left and never bothered with the 8th went home. On the plus side the first 7 holes were in great nick.

Beautiful day on aswell manicured course. A little bit of uncertainty around the blind tee shots, certainly for the first timer.

Very enjoyable but could have benefited from fairwaydistance markers.

Great course, plenty of par 3's. Course is roughly 4850 yards long. Beautiful views from the top & All members and staff were extremely friendly and offered advice for certain holes.

Went into the club house after my round for a pint of draugh cola and had a good chat to several of the senior members.

Thanks for a warm welcome my son enjoyed his round of golf friendly staff and members at Clober in Milngavie clearly welcome juniors on the course which is excellent 👍 we will be playing again next time we are in town
