Short course

Nice course to play.

It's quite a short course, but has a few challenging holes, and a couple of steep hills.

There's a few holes that aren't marked too well, but the members where all helpful, and friendly enough to point us in the right direction.

Great, but challenging

Great course, very quirky. Some very challenging holes for a beginner. I’d definitely recommend though.

Great place

Was made to feel very welcome on and off the course. Stayed on for a few pints and was treated like a member other than a visitor. Wonderful course, will definitely play again and possibly join.

Terrible wait

There was massive delays we had four groups on the 8th tee h waiting to tee off. Course was playing well but I dont think they should take so many bookings especially when they have a club competition taking place. I just left and never bothered with the 8th went home. On the plus side the first 7 holes were in great nick.

Morning glory

Beautiful day on aswell manicured course. A little bit of uncertainty around the blind tee shots, certainly for the first timer.

Very enjoyable but could have benefited from fairwaydistance markers.

Sunny day at Clobber

Great course, plenty of par 3's. Course is roughly 4850 yards long. Beautiful views from the top & All members and staff were extremely friendly and offered advice for certain holes.

Went into the club house after my round for a pint of draugh cola and had a good chat to several of the senior members.

not up to usual standards

arrived 10 mins before tee. pro shop closed. no cards available. eventually a “member” somewhat reluctantly let us play once he’d seen booking email. winter tees poorly indicated and no advance notice of the 5 winter greens in play- not great on a blind hole. left after 11 holes somewhat unimpressed…

Raining, windy and freezing

Played this course a number of times.

Course was wet but overall drainage very good considering. Not all greens were on, but the condition of the ones we played was really good. So great effort from the green keepers.

I would certainly recommend having a round here, not the most challenging course and a little clogged up in the middle, but worth a visit.
