A fair day's play

Overall the course was in good condition considering the lack of rain over the past month or so. However, play was extremely slow and my playing partner and I had to wait at a number of holes. Professional was courteous when we arrived to check in. Afterwards we had a nice meal in the relaxing clubhouse.

Elderslie

This was my first time playing the course and i was very impressed. The course was in excellent condition and the staff in shop were very helpful and informative. I was however disappointed by the catering and service in lounge area. Club was'nt that busy yet it took some time for the lady to take my order whilst she read the newspaper? Food not too good with poor presentation. Also a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the lounge which was quite unpleasant. Lovely clubhouse with a great view onto course.

Elderslie golf course

I played the course on a lovely, sunny day and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was in very good condition and the pace of play was good. I'm not a very big hitter but could reach all of the par 4 holes in 2 shots. Although the course is not too demanding it is quite scenic and also fairly hilly around the turn. Well worth a visit.
