Great Value for Money

Me and my friend played this course this weekend. The weather recently has been terrible so the course was in great condition considering. Only 4 winter greens in February was brilliant too. We did get held up a bit by a 4 ball in front of us who had a 5 ball in front of them, but it didn’t impact the day too much as we weren’t in any rush. The course is VERY hilly, particularly on the back 9 so not for the faint hearted. The only interaction we had with staff was the lady in the shop before we started who was very pleasant. A good day out and would highly recommend.

Winter golf

18 winter tees and greens. All things considered a pleasant round on a much shorter course. Staff as friendly as ever. A plus that the course was open.

Winter solstice

Played the course many times years in my youth and was pleasantly surprised for a late December round. Only 6 winter greens in operation and most of the course in really good condition. A Few boggy areas unfortunately but can’t complain given time of year. A great day for £12!

Dalmuir in great condition

First time playing dalmuir in over 20years… course in great condition for a council run course.

I forgot how hilly so many of the holes are especially the back 9.

One or two of the holes could be a par 5 , especially the 13th.

Overall the course was in good condition.

10/10 value for money

By far the best value for money golf activity I have taken part in. The course is in very good condition and some really tricky holes, a couple of bunkers and tee boxes a little beat up but in very good nick everywhere else. Great fun to play although some holes very hilly so bear in mind if mobility is a consideration. Staff were very friendly as were other groups I came across on my round. 10/10 value, I will be back for more!
