Good greens not the best all round grass

The greens were good but the fairway and rest of the grass was dead and in need of watering. For £29 on a hot deal. That was not the best course to play at.

Great course with sufficient challenge

Beautiful wide fairways. Some challenging greens - especially if you don’t know the course.

Course with a view

The layout is very hilly but enjoyable. There are a lot of blind tee shots which for a first visit makes it a challenge. Without pointers to tell you where the next tee is it would difficult if you didn’t have help from the members. Definitely want to try it again before returning to England.

Absolutely Superb

Played this course on a Saturday afternoon where the tee times were booked nose to tail, and we weren’t held up once. The condition of the course is immaculate and there was a nice friendly and welcoming atmosphere from the members around the clubhouse when we arrived. Added bonus that you get some stunning views over the Clyde. Will definitely return for another game one day.

Great condition and well cared for.

I enjoyed the course. It was well cared for and there were not many people playing today. We did find it quite hiilly with lots of up and down fairways and well positioned sand traps.

4 Ball Heaven

Been 15 years since last played at Cardross, Robert in pro shop was 1st class as always, played with my son, son in law & friend, who all where playing the course for the 1st time, we picked probably the best and last day of the weather for 2019.

Course is testing, which we all need and was in majestic condition for time of year, well laid out and good split in par 3,4 & 5's with blind holes and dog legs, hilly, but spread out well, I would recommend & did use an electric golf trolley as I have grey hair.

All agreed fantastic course and will be back regularly and will need to sample the club house offerings on our return.

Enjoyable round

Lovely course and in great condition. The greens on the day we played were a little slow as the grass could have been shorter. That is the only thing that stopped this course getting 5 stars.
