After hours
We always enjoy playing the course my only gripe is the amount of people who jump on without paying . It’s not fair on the ones who pay as the play slows down considerably. Also golf etiquette doesn’t really exist on the course . Course in great shape and staff always friendly . Just wish it could be policed better .
Sleeping on the course…
We were baffled to find someone had actually set up camp in a tent with music blasting, screaming etc. they looked as though they had been there a while also and they actually had their washing hanging from string attached from the tent to the tree.
Great wee 9
On a good day this course is about as good as it gets for the price you’re paying
Usually a lot of people so keep the pace up
Roughs can be deceptively tricky
Few good driveable holes and generally flat wide fairways
Great 9 in the middle of Glasgow, especially for the price
A necessary 9-hole
Knightswood 9-hole may not be the grandest course you'll ever play, but it's a necessary resource for young and old. Pace of play can be relatively slow but you'll test most clubs in the bag with a par 5 to start, a long par 4 to follow then a mix of dog legs and par 3s. The greens were being treated and, while slow, ran reasonably true. With so few affordable courses like this in Glasgow, this is the type of course that has to persist for the beginner or the old pals who simply enjoy time doing a healthy pastime together.
Average
Course was ok. Lot of blind pins.
Very flat which was good but wouldnt hurry back.
Staff were very friendly
Great maintained wee course
Can't get any better value for your money great wee run course
Far to expensive
At £16.50 for 9 holes ( £33.00 for 18 )
For a week day is far to expensive for me.
Millport golf club is pristine well maintained is £25.00 on a weekday and £35.at the weekend, a round trip on the ferry and bus is £11.00 .
Buggies and electric trolleys also available
Course was in a terrible state every fairway was flooded, green where in ok condition, tee off where just muddy
It is what it is
Not the best course but if your looking for a flat course, relatively basic and close to Glasgow, then it does the job. I do think they overbook it though, very slow to get round it. For a low budget course its in fairly good condition. Greens keepers are extremely rude and act like they own the place.
Excellent 9 hole course
Great value for money and nice and easy layout for beginners. Would highly recommend to golfers of any level
Course in very condition
As always staff friendly and welcoming. Course condition excellent especially greens.
