Scoonie Golf Club

Having only played here twice Really enjoyed the course, talking to other players on the course the major consensus was that the greens were very dried out and hard and balls ran through, not ideal for shots into the green so a lot of chip and runs required. All being said and done still a great day had by all in my party and will definitely go again. On previous visit have to say it was immaculate.

Not the most beautiful or difficult course in Fife, but you simply can't beat the value for money here at Scoonie.

Great little course with plenty of challenges and unique holes. I will return very soon.

While short it has all the challenges you need. Great value and the drainage is much improved since the last time I played it. Staff were friendly at the bar afterwards.

Brilliant round using GN to secure a £7.50 !!! Hot deal . However the course is worth several times that as super condition, no mats and full greens. Some work being done so one hole out of play and winder tees forward but overall great experience and I look forward to playing in the summer.

First time playing and winter golf in Scotland is tricky for courses. It was a dry day but the course was suffering from previous wet weather, so it was really soft and muddy. Also undergoing a lot of maintenance/course improvement. Not unusual at this time of year. Layout is good with some nice mature trees on parkland. Think it will be a different beast in summer and hope to get another opportunity then.

The tees were forward making it a little shorter but still fun. Winter golf with full greens and no need to play off mats. Great day out.

if you have the time go for 2 rounds as you can be round in 2 hours at the moment due to mats for teeing, the course is a good bit shorter

Decent course for the GolfNow discounted price we paid. Enjoyed the layout, not too testing but a few blind shots the first time you play there.

We played in the afternoon and there had been 2-3 hours of heavy persistent rain before we went out, and we suffered a heavy downpour halfway around. Despite this the course played well and with the exceptional of a couple of soft spots underfoot it was excellent. The greens were fine and true. Great value and a fun course with suitable challenges without too much difficulties. Will play again.

due to health issues i only played 12 holes which was enough for me to walk. next time will try and hire a buggy

Decent course in excellent condition just the pace of play was very poor with folk on the course dog walking and groups in front spending more time looking for balls than actually playing

It is a very nice not too long course, perfect greens.

Staff is very friendly and give you the feeling as if are a member. Will def. play this course again.

Hard to believe this James Braid course is available at such great rates. Clubhouse is nothing fancy and after a straight forward opening hole the layout improves. Not sure how well the course plays in wet conditions as some areas were damp. Excellent links-like turf provides very good fairways and greens. Tees not as well maintained but amazed and disappointed to see so many players wandering over them with trolleys. This was even done over first tee by players heading for the car park!!!
