Worth a visit.
Course was in excellent condition and greens where superb.. had played before but many years ago…felt longer than I remembered it…never seen so many bunkers on a golf course ..all greens where well protected by sand traps..I was in enough to know..good value for money .
Bad weather good course
Very happy with the course which had to deal with constant rain for the back 9. Greens were brilliant and the course was a good challenge. I would recommend to a friend.
Interacted with nice members and had coffee and hot roll afterwards in the club house.
Love this course, especially when its looking so good. Was busy as expected on such a nice evening but the 4 in front soon let us through and we had a decent round in a very well looked after course . The well established holes are pristine and the newer additions are great ,l played here as a youth and I think the new layout is cracking looking forward to a return visit
Beware of the bunkers
Very helpful young guy in the pro shop. Played here a few times before and though the course is short you can expect your card to be damaged by the far too many and some very deep bunkers. I think it was the fifteenth where although a short hole you still have a second shot uphill hit is the worst for them.
Outstanding
Good layout, excellent drainage-it was pouring with rain overnight and when we teed off at 8:40 the drainage was obviously working well. A very enjoyable round of golf and I must mention how friendly the grounds team were as they routinely raked the bunkers.
Enjoyed the course - greens were tricky but in good condition. Some interesting contours
Great course shame about the members
The course itself was in great nick a lot of similar par 4s but a really good challenge due to the bunkers. The greens were pretty much immaculate and in places with pretty extreme slopes.
The only gripe I had was with the staff and members. The starter felt the need to give me a row for a double booking (I believe that is actually your fault starter not mines). Had a member give me a bit of grief after I commented they were showing off (the comment was made in jest) after 3 of the 4 ball had knocked their 2nd shots to within 15 feet while I was walking down the fairway in the next hole.
All in all the course cannot be faulted its only the people associated with the course that would make me mark it down.
Wet and windy
Played the course for the first time today unfortunately didn’t check the weather forecast weather was horrendous and we only managed to play the front nine, but I really enjoyed the course if not the weather. Staff in the pro shop were extremely friendly and advised on course layout and where to follow paths to make navigating the course easier. I will be returning to play when the weather is a little more forgiving and hope to complete the whole course.
Good course
Nice layout good selection of holes well worth a trip
Excellent
Greens fairways and Ts all great condition for this time of year. Course drainage and layout all excellent. Pro very friendly. Will be back for sure.
good day out
good day out we where a 3 ball, course was good for this time of year.
only down side was some of the tee offs where not great but this was due to the weather.
would recommend to play and some great views. will definitely be back and would love to play this course in the summer.

Superb warm greeting by pro shop, made feel very welcome. Advice given re route around course. Very friendly. Food good and fairly priced. Will return again.
Really nice
Played as a 3 ball and the course was in excellent condition. Well manicured and good course layout with a variety of challenging holes. Some holes would be short for the big hitters but the bunkers are positioned well to protect the course and maintain the challenge. The greens were very good and quite fast after the hot weather. There was a 4 ball in front that were quite slow but not sure if members or visitors. Staff at pro shop and clubhouse afterwards were very friendly. We will definitely play again.
Challenging course
First time playing at Kirkintilloch golf course and found it to be a challenging course with a fair layout. Disappointed as we were held up behind a 5 ball for several holes also the course is very dry due to the unusual weather in Scotland at the moment.
Staff were friendly along with most of the members. Hopefully next time I play here there’s no 5 ball in front of me.
Kirkintilloch golf course
I played today on Sunday afternoon, I was put in with a separate two ball, nice guys so no issues there. Plenty of chances to shoot a good score as lots of shortish par 4s. I preferred back nine compared to front. Putting greens ran very well and fairways / rough were in good nick. Plenty of heavier rough if you hit wild tee shots but needs to be very wild. Overall really enjoyed the day and would no doubt play it again.
