Good times
Sanded greens were lame. The entire greens were sanded, instead of 1/2?
Great Experience
This was my first time playing at El Dorado and it did not disappoint. The course is in fairly great condition and it’s really challenging. The greens are pretty fast, the traps well positioned and there is water throughout that challenge you get better as a player. The price was not bad at all for how the course is. If anything it should be mode pricier. I’d recommend this course.
cart rules is ridiculous
I really enjoyed the course, however I was extremely disappointed that you are charged $32.00 to ride with a partner but are given the opportunity to pay $16.00 to ride by yourself. That makes no sense at all. How about leaving the price at $16.00 to ride with a partner or by yourself?
Consistently Good
El Dorado has always been a good course. It's demanding without being unfair. The greens were very fast and in good shape. Overall, the course was in very good shape.
Course layout is good condition is average at best
Course layout is good condition is average at best. It’s winter time in Southern California and this course gets a lot of play. Fairways are patchy and the greens are maybe a notch above average. This is a great course when it’s well maintained. A little too expensive though, $44 to walk isn’t worth it.
Challenge and value
This course is well maintained and challenging but not over the top. Fairways are all lined with trees so keeping the ball on the fairway is paramount. I paid under $30 to walk which was a great deal. I play a lot of courses in this price range and this one is probably the best value and in the best condition will play again soon!
