One of the best public park golf courses in Southern California.
I have played in this course several times and each time I find new challenges. Each tee shot has to be well planned to avoid strategically placed trees, bunkers and water hazards. The greens are fast and sloped in angles that is difficult to predict. The course is well maintained and playing at Eldorado Golf Course has been a great experience overall.

Horrible customer service
Horrible staff horrible course
We were in line waiting to pay and the worker gave away our tee time
When I told him hey I was in line, he said if my tee time was coming up I should’ve gone to the front of the line and let them know
How was I going to cut other people who were in line before me?
Then they made me wait over an hour for another tee time
Only to charge us (other people as well) for golf carts and didn’t have enough of them to distribute
So we all got stuck there waiting with keys but no carts
Horrible customer service, the cashierwitn glasses was being a smart a** when I told him about giving our tee time away when we were in line
Really considering not coming back

Fun Challenging shorter course
Condition of the fairways was good. The Greens had some sand in them but did not significantly affect ball speed. It has a good lay out and the speed of the greens keep it challenging. Good amenities. Pace of play was okay at 4.5 hrs, but it was a busy day and faster than I expected.

B-day at ElDo
We played goof here for my birthday and it was tremendous! The course was in great shape. The greens were rolling nice and despite drought conditions in the area the grass on the fairways was in good shape. We played in 4 hours. Great Day!

El Dorado Not What It Used to Be
Fairways were awful. Lots of bare dirt around greens. The greens were good and fast.
