Horrible customer service
Horrible staff horrible course
We were in line waiting to pay and the worker gave away our tee time
When I told him hey I was in line, he said if my tee time was coming up I should’ve gone to the front of the line and let them know
How was I going to cut other people who were in line before me?
Then they made me wait over an hour for another tee time
Only to charge us (other people as well) for golf carts and didn’t have enough of them to distribute
So we all got stuck there waiting with keys but no carts
Horrible customer service, the cashierwitn glasses was being a smart a** when I told him about giving our tee time away when we were in line
Really considering not coming back
Fun Challenging shorter course
Condition of the fairways was good. The Greens had some sand in them but did not significantly affect ball speed. It has a good lay out and the speed of the greens keep it challenging. Good amenities. Pace of play was okay at 4.5 hrs, but it was a busy day and faster than I expected.
B-day at ElDo
We played goof here for my birthday and it was tremendous! The course was in great shape. The greens were rolling nice and despite drought conditions in the area the grass on the fairways was in good shape. We played in 4 hours. Great Day!
El Dorado Not What It Used to Be
Fairways were awful. Lots of bare dirt around greens. The greens were good and fast.

Course tests your skills. Challenging but fun. Dont get caught enjoying the view of each hole. Will be scheduling a round for my golf partners. After COVID.
A Bit Over Priced For It's Current Conditions
First time playing here at El Dorado Park Golf course in a few years. I was kind of disappointed with the course's conditions. The fairways weren't in that good of shape and the greens had a lot of divots.
Unfortunately I had prepaid my greens fee with a cart but the starter still made me pay a cart fee even though I showed him my confirmation email. Just wanted to give you a heads up in case you prepay ahead of time.
Would I play here again? Yes I would. I just remember this course being in such great shape in the years past but things happen. Still had a pretty good time.
it is clear American golf and city of Long Beach are purposefully neglecting the course. to the point it is has Become a "cow pasture". I understand costs are a strong. consideration in these times, but the neglect of course condition goes beyond reasonable. I will not play this course again and advising fellow golfers to avoid it.
