Great Local Course
This was my first time playing this course, I’m bummed that I didn’t play it sooner. Nice course and I got paired up with some friendly people as well. I got through 18 holes at a 12:30 start in 4 hours 15 minutes. If you wanna call this a drawback, the only “bad” thing about this course was some extremely long Par 4’s (But they’ll just make you a better golfer).
Course was in great condition!
As we all know, golf is very expensive these days. With that in mind, I feel that El Dorado's green fees are very fair... especially for what you get. The course was in really great shape and the pace of play was solid... always can be better, another thing most of us know.
Play early
Played in 4 hours at 730am
Course in good shape. Greens are nice and quick
Good Course - Typical Muni
We played in February and they had recently sanded the greens. Despite that they rolled pretty well and it seemed to me they were probably a highlight of course care under normal conditions. Everything else is typical municipal golf. Some spots are well cared for, most tee boxes are pretty rough. Pace of play just depends on the group in front of you because no one is monitoring and encouraging a better pace. We ended up skipping the group in front of us because there were 3 holes open ahead and it worked out fine. It’s an inexpensive course maintained by a city. Keep your expectations in check and you’ll enjoy the round.
Great course
Played the back nine on MLK day. The course was in a great shape from tee box, fairways to greens. Pace of play was great too given it was a holiday. I will definitely come back and play all 18 holes.
Ordinary public course
It was good course for practicing every club. BTW ducks poop is minus.
