Dougalston Golf Club

Well worth a visit, great layout, holes over water, tricky down hill par 3's very good fun to play, fairways are a bit mossy and greens are not perfect, but value for money and a good day out.

Didn’t like this course too long and confusing and long walk between tees etc. Rough was heavy and lost so many balls. Needs a bit of decent grounds maintenance. Could be nice but just i isn’t

Though my golf wasn't great the course was good. Greens perfect fairways well kept. Some tight fairways but some lovely views too. Had a great day as a two ball.

Good course offering all types of holes from excellent par threes to tricky par fives will definitely be back

Grenns are in great condition tee boxes need a bit of work to bring them up to a better standard, everything else about the corse is worth playing, overall a good day

Course was in great condition. Greens perfect. Good weather on the day too.

Excellent layout and for the time of year very good condition. Greens were very good, albeit on the slow side. If you can't take some serious incline which are a feature on certain holes it might not be for you. Quite a distance from greens to tees on some holes and you can see it was built as a resort course with Buggies in mind. It is a good challenge and if the wind blows some holes play much longer than the card suggests . I would recommend the course very highly.

Really enjoyed the course, some great holes and the people I met were lovely.

Would of considered becoming a member as it's only a 10 minute drive from me. The only thing that let it down slightly for me was the signage or direction to the next holes. Once you play it a few times it'll be a non issue. Other than that I would highly recommend it. 9.5/10

Course was good for this time of year and good value for £15. The green were a tad slow and hairy. But apart from that it was good.

Excellent again . Beautiful course and what a test .

Played on a wet, blustery and cold March day. Apart from a couple of poor holes, really enjoyed this course. Will obviously play better once the weather improves. Great value at £10.

A challenging course good layout will definitely return in the summer

Really nice course in a wooded area. Course is really well looked after for the price I was surprised it was in such good condition in the middle of January. Some holes are fairly challenging with quite tight tree lined fairways but also some holes are a bit more open. Some water hazards on certain holes present a good challenge but aren't too difficult.
