Good course and great conditions for this time of the year, really hilly course I thought, most tees are signed Good however maybe 1 or 2 could be improved, overall I would play again

My 2 friends and myself had a great day out on the course. Some really good holes par threes were excellent will definitely play there again

I was extremely disappointed when I realized the course was using winter greens on SOME ( Most) of the holes, this was not mentioned when booking, I would not have played otherwise

The actual greens we did get to use were dry and very bumpy/uneven, the course was not very well kept at all,

There were supposed to be 10 minute intervals between Tee offs, The steward overseeing the first Tee told us to Tee off as soon as the two in front had played their second shots on the first hole, we were also caught by the 2 ball behind us by the 3rd Hole and the 2 ball behind them by the 5th and had to let the 2 separate couples play through

Really challenging interesting golf

Really look forward to going again soon

Course in good condition for this time of year and after the heavy rain and all greens in play

Hi. Been really happy both times I have at Dougalston. I booked to play at Carluke on the 6th December but the course was closed with no notification from the course or golf now. Last I checked I hadn’t been refunded. Can someone please look into this for me.

2nd time playing this course, last week was frosty and foggy, this week icy and wet.... but still excellent... beautiful setting, challenging and diverse

Played this course in summer of 20/20 and really really great skip to December 2020 and still charging £20 per round with winter greens in play (placed in the middle of the fairway) not cut ect ect. Booked 4 days in advance when weather was good but on day of play frost all over the place course not playable but still charged full price

Not happy with standard of course

Played the course in mid December when the conditions leading up to it had been extremely wet. The full course was in play and was in excellent condition considering the weather. Would definitely recommend

Such a challenging golf course is Dougalston, easy on the eye, as it such a lovely looking course, but difficult none the less. Course was very wet in places, greens were on, but not in great condition, but it is December where most courses will be much the same.

Some really narrow fairways and some serious hills but overall a excellent course with in beautiful surrounds.

Course is in great condition (no winter greens) so hats off to the staff.

We booked this course as its quite close to where we live thought it was a decent price .there was t anybody on the course so very pracefull but having read previous reviews wasnt expecting much.thought the course wasnt too bad considering the time of year and no winter greens which was good and they were in good condition. Fairways a bit wet but has to be expected this time of year. Would like to play the course in the summer and would return.

Not the best conditions weather wise ,however enjoyed the course layout, with its challenging par 5s to its tricky par3’s not to mention the friendly and helpful staff makes this course well worth a visit .

Wont be back course was like a non stop swamp poorly maintained

Firstly the course is a tough little course but I wouldn’t go anywhere near it if it’s rained and the winter tee’s are awful

First time playing and was walking around not knowing where to go.

In a whole it’ll be a good course in the summer but don’t go if it’s rained in anytime the week before your tee off

Course was very damp in parts due to recent weather however more so that expected. Majority of greens were also cored and sanded without any advertisement. Sanding of greens was also very poor with large areas basically unplayable. Won't be playing again

A high number of the tee boxes were out of use. About half the greens were covered in sand and all of them were bobbly with holes in them. Fairways were fine but tee boxes and greens were terrible. Hard to take the scorecard seriously because of the greens, some of them were literally covered in sand
