The Golf Club at North Hampton

Last played here 5 years ago. Prior to that, played this course for 10+ years. It is now, no where near the prior conditions. While I realize Dorian may have put them behind in course management, the rough needed mowing, cut grass in the fairways was piled high. Also looked like their mowers need adjustment. Not a level cut. Some sandtraps were hard packed while others were ok. This use to be one of the finest maintained courses around. Would only rate it as average now.

No paved or cemented pathways - dirt, rough, bumpy horrible cartpaths.

Fairways were mowed but not swept or mowings blown.

Teeboxes and greens in poor condition.

First & last time we would ever play this Course.

The two men in the Pro Shop were not friendly!

This is one of the best places to play in Jacksonville area. It's in Yule, about a 40 minute ride from downtown Jacksonville. Tee boxes, fairways, and greens are in magnificent condition. Greens are not as fast as they usually are, but I think it's that way at most courses.

Course layout is challenging., par fives give you a lot to think about.

Par threes shot is difficult to stick on the greens. You will probably be best served to play it twice, to get the best round, which may not help some. Staff is friendly and accommodating, which is a improvement from years past. Play it it's worth it

Great course layout in excellent condition. This course will test your golf skills.

North Hampton remains a great course requiring your best. A good mix of holes, with difficult and challenging ones followed up by another one and then perhaps one a bit easier but still exacting. Large and undulating greens offer variety of pin placements. The greens held all shots but were a bit on the slow side so you had to make solid contact in order to get it inside your comfort range. Recommend this course but bring your A game or at least your B+ game.

Excellent layout - greens too slow on day I played

This used to be one of the best courses in all of Florida (10 plus years ago). So sad to say that it is not worth the time to play due to poor condition and lack of TLC in all areas of the course.

What once was a great track is now in terrible condition.

Very challenging course but satisfying. Higher caliber course than I’m used to. Deceptively difficult approach shots.

Mid Summer conditions. Lush greens (slow). Course is in great shape with all the new sand.

Course has policy that all golf now customers adhere to tee time. Rather puzzling on an empty course.

Played on a Tuesday morning. A member foursome started 20 minutes before us and played a 5 hour money round in 93 degree heat. Would not let our twosome play through. No help from marshal. Waited 15 minutes on 15 for them to summon marshall to report 3 teenagers fishing in the pond. Great course but zero course management

No one answered when I called late in the afternoon so I left my number. Tried to get a time on TeeOff, but didn't think it went thru. Course called me back & said to come on out. I paid the twi-light rate & was able to finish before dark (in 3 hours!). Loved the course! Beautiful & in great shape. Lots of water, sand, vegetation & elevation changes cut thru the wetlands. Found out the next day that TeeOff charged me too. Course said they'd give me the difference if I came back.

Nice day spent with friends on the course. Greens and fairways are in awesome shape.

Only complaint course not busy and starter had us wait 25 min to tee due to us booking on Golf Now...
