The Golf Club at North Hampton

This is one of if not my favorite course in the Amelia Island area. Have played there 3 times now since moving to the South Georgia area a few months ago and it is always challenging.

The layout is perfect with strategically placed water and the occasional elevation change.

Staff is super friendly and there’s always someone right there to help you with your clubs. Sometimes hard to find a starter but could be because I usually play around noon or later.

My only small issue (not sure if it falls on Golfnow or the club) is that I was not told prior to my round that the holes were recently punched. Nothing wrong with servicing the course obviously but I would like to be warned by either GolfNow or the club when I book if the greens were recently punched.

Overall I love the course and I recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good course at a fair price in the North Florida/South Georgia area.

This is a very challenging course but a lot of risk-reward opportunities. Staff very friendly and accommodating. The only downside was the greens had been punched so putting was a challenge. Will definitely play again soon. Traffic can be a challenge so plan plenty of drive time. And there's a train crossing.

Was at JAX airport with an afternoon available and picked this course from Golf Now as I sat in the rental car at the terminal. A quick 15-20 minute drive north from the airport I arrived at North Hampton to play as a single.

Greeted in lot by staff who kindly delivered a cart to my car. I checked in had an excellent time as a single on a Thursday afternoon. Pace of play was great, the course fairways were in nice condition and the course layout was fun. Be sure to grab a course guide at the pro shop. This old school booklet had excellent intel for each hole and definitely saved me a few strokes. While homes are near the course, the homes don’t ”come into play”, as is the case with many Florida courses.

The course was challenging and fair. All tee boxes in nice shape, fairways were well kept and greens in good condition.

Since this is an Arnold Palmer Course you know what to expect. Lots of sand traps. But every hole is unique and the vistas are beautiful the clubhouse is very nice and their food is excellent

Best keep secret in north Florida. Arnold’s truly great design layout has everything every golfer of any caliber will enjoy.. Eeach hole has a challenge and a vista to be appreciated.

Great course and layout. Course conditions good, greens a little sow. Tried getting food at turn (couple of BLTs). Called order in after 7th hole and still had to wait 10 minutes when we made the turn, no personality from bar staff. Very slow service, complaints from the guys at the bar about slow service. Only complaint I had.

Second time playing this course and will definitely play again. Staff could not be any more friendly and inviting. Very nice layout with some blind shots. Greens and fairways were in excellent shape.

Great layout, interesting landscape. Outstanding subdivision golf course.

Fairways and greens lush. Interesting terrain. Some forced carries. Traps have good sand. Huge greens, moderate speed. Have to hit putts firm to get all the way to the hole. Excellent value for a better than average public course. Worth replaying.

I do not appreciate being treated as a second class customer because I booked a hot deal with Golf Now

The course generally looks in need of better care far worse condition than we have experienced a couple of years ago

Greens and fairways in super condition. New range balls. Helpful and friendly staff. One of the finest golf courses in Northern Florida.

Excellent staff. Course conditions are super with greens running somewhat fast. Always a great course to play.
