Great shape
Rec Park was in great shape. The course is a lil on the short side. Greens roll well and you can really be aggressive when inside 25 ft.
Nice Course!!
Recreation Park is a reasonably priced course, that's in pretty good shape and, on a Tuesday afternoon, we got around in just under four hours.
No complaints about the course come to mind. I'd play there again without hesitation.
Above Average Course
Overall course conditions were not bad. Greens were firm and tough, fairways were hittable from anywhere and tee boxes needed some love, but decent enough. Paid $44, walked it in 3:50 and didn’t feel rushed, but $60 w/cart, the place did not seem worth it, so we choose to walk instead. Only complaint was when we finished paying at like 8:05 the Marshall said we were up next, yet our tee time was 8:20 and we were holding up the 8:30 group? Other than that the place wasn’t bad.
Poor handling of tee times
We were first off this morning as pace of play was very good! At the turn at 7:05am the starter was sending off 10 groups on the back nine! What a mess and nightmare. It then took 3 hours to play!! Now that’s what I call very poor judgment on the starter and staff!!!
My favorite
rec park is is great shape at the moment. The greens were fast but true. The fairways in good shape. The elevation changes are challenging and make the course fun.

This course played better than most for pace and the greens were in incredible shape. Practice facility was open and great shape as well!
dead cart
had to show proof of cart with prepaid teeoff reservation - i came prepared.
with 2 dozen carts in the lot, we got one that wasn't charged and it died at hole 6. clubhouse would not pick up their line, had to have cart girl contact them. had to walk 4 holes until we got another cart. the guy who showed up to tow the dead cart should've come with an extra cart, not make us wiat for him to go back and get another. whatta pain.
Not so hidden gem
Finally got to check this track out! Drove past countless times while working and always wanted to play a round. Definitely going to be coming back
