Recreation Park 18 Golf Course

I’m from NYC so anything is better than here now. That being said, I have always liked this track. Play here.

Condition of course is excellent,

Green is well maintained and a little bit fast.

I tee off at 12 :30 and finished 18 hole.

I'll be this course again soon.

Started ten mins late but was still able to fit 18 holes in a little over 4.5 hrs (just before sun down).

The course was in ok shape. Some tee boxes need work, barely any grass on them. Greens were decent, they were soft and receptive but rolled well. But nobody fixes divots….. you know the story.

Mostly good coverage on the fairways.

The range and the mats though….. how embarrassing. Is this the look that American Golf and LBC want to present?? Tattered old mats that have been there for years, and the range is most dirt. The range picker kicks up so much dirt it wafts in the wind. Pretty sad. But this is a low level local muni and they treat it like dirt, you get those kinds.

I heard they had double booked some tee times, so I guess they’re having a problem with their computers between GolfNow and Foreup.

A bit pricey for the place at holiday pricing for non-residents.

We had a tee time for 4. All 4 of us showed paid and played. A week later golf now charged me for a player that did not show. I called golf now they called the course who insisted we had 3 players not 4. So golf now told me nothing they could do. I have called the course 3 times left 3 messages for the manager and in a weeks time have not received even a courtesy call back. I guess i imagined me and my 3 friends playing that day. Pretty sad when a course is willing to lose a customer who plays out there at least once every couple months over $58 That was charged to me even when all 4 players showed and paid played.. i will no longer be booking through golf now and this course will NEVER get my business again!

I played this about 15years ago. Despite of short hands everywhere, the course was excellent condition and staff was so kind.

I strongly recommend Recreation Park golf course.

Great day. They had just aerated the greens so it would have been nice to know before playing. Other than not being able to putt effectively the course was nice. The course Marshall, Brett, was a great guy and really helpful! Thank you, Brett!

I am still giving it four starts because once the greens are back this is a nice one. Easy enough for beginners and intermediates with nice fairways. The tee boxes and fairways were in good shape and pace of play was kept in check by marshal. Unfortunately all greens were recently punched and sanded so you really can’t putt true right now.
