The Nicest of the Muni GCs I Have Played in LA
The Designers cared for some eye-catchers and it‘s worth it! Some greens are tricky to be approached, there is a wild bunker- landscape around, what I liked.
Drawback: Lots of pitch-marks on the greens.
Definitely recommend it
Fun course. Quirky. Well placed trees. Deceptive for a new comer. I got put with 3 guys and we were first off in the AM. They were much better than me but put up with me and helped at every turn. I couldn’t have had more fun. I didn’t really get a $70 green fee. I got a 3.5 hour lesson for $70 from 3 great golfers.
Punch the greens, not the golfers.
All golfers understand punching the greens. Just tell us when you're punching the greens. We as adults will use our own discretion whether or not we will make our tee time at the course. When I asked why we were NOT notified I got blank stares & lots of really poor customer service. You know you are WRONG (John) by not notifying guests. Also, Skylinks is NOT what it used to be.
Aeration secret
First of all I’ve played here multiple times. It’s a decent course. Fun little easy course where you can make mistakes. Is it worth how much they charge? Absolutely not. Then I play yesterday, pay full price, buy range balls, and when I get to the first green it’s a complete sand over. No one warned me, no one advised hey we just punched the greens, you can’t even putt today. It’s infuriating. I understand it’s got to be done but come on man! Give us a heads up and offer a discounted rate!

Did not have Aerification Alert!
Played 9/28/22 and greens were just punched and when booking yesterday on GolfNow they did not have aerification alert on! I just checked for future tee times and they still don’t! To makes matters worse, the starter didn’t know either! The front desk worker was no help and charged full price. I have played here a few times and been happy with service but idk if I’ll be back after this.
Beaches as greens
They decided to punch the greens in the middle of a heat wave... Need to cover the entire greens in a full layer of sand. Might as well be a zen garden.
course is nice but green's just got punched it was all sand wish I would have a heads up I wouldn't have played
