Skylinks Golf Course

First off, golfnow had the price at $64.50 with cart. They charged us $79.50 (15 was for a cart). Bad start.

The course was fine. It's an easy, fairly boring layout. Greens are very undulating which was fun. Fairways were fine but the rough was dried out - looks like they hadn't watered it in days.

The surprise cart fee kind of put an early damper on the day but we still had fun.

Played in 3:40 thanks to 10 minute tee times and no fivesomes. . Course was in pretty good shape but too many un-repaired pitch marks on the green. I would expect better care for the price. Players can help too by repairing your pitch mark plus one or two others. Even in a fast round you have time to do that.

Fairways and greens were in great shape. Staff and a couple hick-ups at check in, but nothing major. There was a slow group behind us, but our 4-some got done in 4 hours so no biggie.

Had a great time. Met a great family that I was paired with from Phoenix, Arizona.

Fairways were nice and open and had great bounce and roll to them. My only issue with the course and there were many areas that needed to be watered.

In many places the fairways were bone dry and rock hard, also not much sand in greenside bunkers. Marhsalls would have been useful to keep pace of play moving, but none to be seen throughout the entire day,

Golfnow is saying you get a cart the guy “John” real old mad dog type not giving an inch. You will pay extra upon arrival. They are pretty much slumming I’d say during covid, the course gets played so much that they could care less about you and the money you bring to the course. Drinks and food are non existent unless you wanna hold up the whole course on the turn and course is an bad shape. You would think fixing divots is illegal here.

I played this course 20 years ago , They just redone it , today still nice as when they restarts . It was surprise to me , like to play again soon .

Fast pace and good course conditions (fairways and greens). Bunkers could use some work.

We have played this course many times. I’ve used different apps to book tee times and everything was fine. I booked today through GolfNow for this round and it said our tee time included a cart. I get to the course to check in and we had to pay extra for the cart! So I’m upset we were led to believe one thing and told another! Not happy!! I’m going to avoid Skylinks in the future! So unhappy!!

great day to play course was little dry in spot but greens were good.

Place has taking a beating since the Rona and American golf is slum lording. The carts sometimes are clean and sometimes the GPS works. No Alert about sanded greens they were not punched just sanded. Would not have played knowing that.

No one fixes divots

Nice golf course just perfect for intermediate players. Good layout and fairways, greens are well taken care. Overall It needs a little better maintenance and better cleaning on the carts

greens a little bumpy but rolled OK. Bunkers not maintained as expected with covid still was able to play out of with no problem. Very nice group I played with, i went out as a single.

Nice course and layout. Just need a little better maintenance and cleaner carts, but overall it was fun.

Course was in fair shape. Some areas were over watered and played soft, other areas were very dry and bounced really hard, so it was difficult to judge how to hit off it and to see what would happen to the ball when it landed. Same with the greens. Some were way quicker than the others as they were cut more than others. No real consistency. Just made for a difficult day of golf. The bunkers were the same, some were still quite wet and heavy and others dried out the crusty even through late into the back 9 holes.

It’s a bit pricey for what it is.

I booked a round for three people and it said cart was included. When I got to the course they charged us an additional $15.00 per person cart fee on top of the $40.00 per person fee I already paid online through golf now. It clearly stated cart was included on the app. Very sneaky and manipulative. The employee at the course told me I shouldn’t book on golf now. Not a very good partnership between golf now and Skylinks. Skylinks should embrace golf now for it gives them exposure to golfers that might not know about their course. Not very happy about this, they should get on the same page.

This course would be great to play if not for the condition of the sand traps. there are multiple traps on most holes that are impossible to get out of because. there is very little sand in them.
