Carts are Xtra $$$. Why? If you're going to charge me extra for a cart make sure the yardage gps is correct. I'm sure the GPS is way off.

This is my favorite Long Beach course. The course was in pretty good condition. There was a slow foursome that was two groups ahead of us. We waited about 5 minutes at every tee box. Finally after the 6th hole we skipped over to the ninth hole. We completed the 18th hole and the group that was originally behind us was still waiting to hit on the 15th tee. Sorry, but I hate slow play.

I play Skylinks often, and this is the first time I’ve used this platform to complain, but it was just auwful, the starter put 6 groups out like it was a holiday, we were backed up all day, In 90 degree heat and humidity high, it made for a long day,

I played twice before this in the last week and what a pleasure, they put us out 10 minutes apart, thought we were in heaven, hope they get a grip on this.... on the bright side, the course is in great shape and I will return as always and hope for the best, I always recommend Skylinks.

Customer service is unbelievably bad. I've played there a few times now and have always seen it with other people there, but this most recent was to me. Stuck up. It's like they think they're working Augusta National. They clearly don't care much about people that aren't regulars. Course is decent but not really well taken care of and a joke to pay $65 with a cart. Funny how they treat someone who actually pays full price when half the people there have walked on for free in the past apparently. Won't be back.

I've been playing in the area for a couple years and have yet to play this one. I've only heard great things about this course. And after my first time playing there I don't believe I will be returning. We were supposed to tee off at 3 pm but did not get out until 3:45. There seemed to be very little coordination between staff and absolutely no enforcement on pace of play. In the 45 minutes we were waiting out front of the pro shop I'm not kidding only one group came through the 10th hole. We should have finished in time, however since started late did not finish last 2 holes before it got dark.

I play golf every week around Long Beach and Orange County and I have never seen something like I saw on this course today and I don't even write yelp reviews but this needs to be said. I've played here a handful of times and rather enjoy the course it's a nice course however I was on the third tee and the greens keeper was mowing the tee box no big deal. The employee continued mowing the grass to the point where he was holding up the pace of the game so I decided to tee off considering I knew I wasn't going to hit him. I teed off and the ball went no where near him I may be in the wrong for doing that I accept it but I have never had someone do this they usually pull off and wait until we tee off then continue. Keep in mind it was me and one other person playing. So the employee continues mowing for another few minutes after I tee off then confronts me. He proceeded to to angry and tell me I needed to wait for him to be done and I could of hit him and I told him I was not going to hit him and we continue to argue for a few more minutes. He eventually drives away no big deal I continue on with my game. I noticed the same employee drives to another hole I'm about to tee off on and removes the tee boxes and begins mowing our tee box and I also noticed the marshal is present when he is doing this he mows for a few minutes then goes to the side to dump grass I talk to the marshal and ask if it's normal for them to be doing this while we're about to tee off and the marshal states "we'll when would you like him to do it" the marshal was no help and very rude. So I walk back and wait for the employee to finish but now the employee is parked with mower on and staring at me. I ask him if he's waiting on me and he replies yeah I am. So now it's my fault. I'm very angry at this point by both employees behavior but we continue playing and I let it go. I'm playing the back nine at this point and the same employee is now at my tee box with his mower circle around my tee box and does not turn his mower off for me when I'm teeing off I could not believe it the employee was totally harassing me at this point and the guy I was playing with totally agreed. I have never in my time of playing golf experienced such unprofessionalism for a staff let alone a golf staff. If you have a grievance with the course just keep it to yourself or be bullied. I paid $47.50 to be harassed by a guy in a lawn mower really disappointing. I have video of it but it won't let me post it

Had a 3:00pm tee time, didn’t get to tee off until 3:45. No organization from the staff, seemed like it was all their first day working there. We didn’t get to finish the round, could only get through 15. I asked a staff member if there’s anything they can do to compensate us for the late start and unfinished round and they said no.

This is the second time I have played this course and I have to say this course will reward you for hitting the fairways, the ball seems to just keep rolling about 20 yards further than I am used to which made for my lowest score of the year. Even when you hit into the rough which I did plenty, it was not to difficult to get out of trouble. The greens are very challenging especially on long putts with elevation and slope variations. The only thing I would recommend the course improve are to add a little more sand to the bunkers they are a bit firm for high handicappers like myself. I played midweek around noon and was done in 4 hours so things were moving quite nicely. I got the discount rate from Golf Now so it is a littler cheaper than usual.

Didn't play my best, but enjoyed the round on a beautiful day. Course was in it's normal great shape and the pace was perfect. We rarely had to wait all round.

First off, golfnow had the price at $64.50 with cart. They charged us $79.50 (15 was for a cart). Bad start.

The course was fine. It's an easy, fairly boring layout. Greens are very undulating which was fun. Fairways were fine but the rough was dried out - looks like they hadn't watered it in days.

The surprise cart fee kind of put an early damper on the day but we still had fun.
