Nothing but Good to Say
Had a 12:20 p.m. tee time on Mother's Day. Ended up being wide open enough to tee off 20 minutes early and finish right at 4 hours. Course is in terrific shape with some of the truest greens I've played in the Long Beach area.
It can definitely be a longer layout from the back tees as the course has its share of regular holes that play stick straight, holes with slight or exaggerated dog legs, and plenty of natural, hazardous and obstacles to keep the journey between the teebox and the green. Exciting for every hole. There's even the really fun par 3/5 hole where if you're teeing off at the right time, small planes may be flying overhead while playing that hole.
With the hot deal, it's a tee time that's really hard to beat in Southern California. Arguably the best in the Long Beach area for a public course and is highly recommended whether you're just starting out or an advanced golfer.

Restrooms need cleaning
Super awesome for the money. Booked it while visiting town, and was surprised to see mark o meara, tiger woods, and other names on their hall of fame wall. Course was super fun greens were really nice. Pace was a little rough on the back nine, but who cares.
In pretty good shape
Overall good day. Course in good conditions with really nice greens. I suggest that if the tractors drive through the sand traps that they rake them afterwards. Hard to hit out of tractor marks. Also disappointed that at check in they charged me full rate with cart, even thought I walked the course. Also didn’t get the senior rate. The lame excuse was that I booked it through GolfNow so they couldn’t chance the rate. Wasn’t happy with that.

Fun day at Skylinks
No complaints. Started on time and moved along well at 4 hour and 10 minutes. Great day.
Good track
Got there early, took over 10 minutes to park, parking lot way too small for amount of players. Fairways very dry. Greens good shape and fast. Overall a good course. Only distraction was helicopters and planes flying overhead.
Aeration
Punched the fairway and hard to see the green grass. And also some of the sand trap was hard rock. Didn’t recover it yet after aeration of the green . Hopefully that it would be better condition after two more weeks.
