Wilson at Griffith Park Golf Courses

I've golfed Wilson and Harding Hundreds of times but this round will definitely have me thinking TWICE about it because I know I'm not going to complete 18 holes but I was waiting forever on each tee box after I played the first hole and the course conditions were as rough as I've ever seen it and the greens had too many unrepaired Ball Mark's . I felt like a greens keeper because I had soo much time to repair my own and other people ball Mark's that hadn't been fixed for Day's besides that day . Bottom line I wouldn't recommend this course to anyone unless you feel like repairing the greens ALL DAY. It was soo SAD to see an Iconic golf course in such Bad golfing shape.

I played this course for the first time a couple days ago and let me tell you this course is extremely well kept. The greens were perfect! Not too fast, not too slow. I definitely recommend driving a cart and not just because its a huge course but also because they have a gps and Bluetooth speakers! Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with my experience and highly recommend playing here.

I try to play once a week after work during the summer.

Perfect weather most of the time.

Condition of the course is great as well.

First time here at Wilson. Located within Griffith Park, the course sits adjacent to the local parks, hiking trails, and locals and tourists walking and driving along the road right next to many of the holes.

The course blends itself with Griffith Park, and I really enjoyed playing here. I may be bias because I am a local.

Plenty of trees, not too long off the tee, not too undulation. Overall a solid and enjoyable course.

Downside: Hard to book a tee time..

Understanding budgets and such the course is just not getting the attention I would personally like to see. The greens are spongy and bumpy and the fairways on alot of holes are spotty. This course is always busy and that tells me it very unlikely any real improvements will ever be done here. It’s a real shame. The course is a classic and should be celebrated as such. If you can catch it on a good day you’ll be please. Just not too many of those that are up to the standard Wilson deserves.

Long course and fast greens best describes this course. Wide fairways are forgiving but don't get stuck in the woods. Great place to play with lots of history. Very organised with group callouts to pay and tee off. Hope I can get a better start on the opening holes next time.

Challenging course, nice greens and very good players to enjoy the game with.

Played late afternoon with some family from NY. They were blown away by the wildlife and natural beauty!
