Love this whole place.
Moved about 6 miles away and being so close has got be back into golf. Both courses are forgiving and wide open, great for beginners, but holes are challenging for lower hcp players. Nothing beats heading over in the afternoon and hitting some balls on the range (Top tracer) or putting on one of the 3 practice greens or some short game work I. Their chipping area. They are currently user construction, and probably I’ll be for a while because of the historical restoration(doesn’t affect much)

Always liked this course and today was my first time walking it. Was greeted with this beautiful view on hole one. All was fine till we got the greens which were recently punched and covered in sand but still managed to play well. Great local course for me. Highly recommend

Courses Features
While we were playing we noticed a lot of dead grass and dirt on multiple holes as well as gardeners mowing the course while playing causing it hard to hit consistently. The mowing also changes the pace of play as well as the fairway changing during the play.
