Wilson. A classic that could be great…but it’s just not.
Understanding budgets and such the course is just not getting the attention I would personally like to see. The greens are spongy and bumpy and the fairways on alot of holes are spotty. This course is always busy and that tells me it very unlikely any real improvements will ever be done here. It’s a real shame. The course is a classic and should be celebrated as such. If you can catch it on a good day you’ll be please. Just not too many of those that are up to the standard Wilson deserves.

Long and Fast!
Long course and fast greens best describes this course. Wide fairways are forgiving but don't get stuck in the woods. Great place to play with lots of history. Very organised with group callouts to pay and tee off. Hope I can get a better start on the opening holes next time.

Always a blast
Played late afternoon with some family from NY. They were blown away by the wildlife and natural beauty!

Old favorite
It's been years since I played Wilson and I forgot how much fun it is to play. Forgiving fairways but still a challenging layout. We were able to play a 4 hour round, walking in the late afternoon.

Good course. Good location. No water to drink.
Played Wilson for the first time. Loved the course. Traditional, just a good tract. But, if you are not going to have water coolers, open the halfway house so people can get water.
