Truly one of the best courses in the UK if not further afield!

I can't wait to return!

First time playing Ballycastle and what a fantastic experiance. The staff at the Pro Shop were welcoming, experianced and could not be more helpful. Took us outside shared some local knowledge and sent us on our way. The course is in fantastic condition and the views!!! Well worth a visit.

On a mini holiday touring Ireland wives would only allow space for1 set of Clubs so had to hire a set

Pro was extremely helpful great set of clubs and advice Allowed us to tee off ahead of time course was very interesting 5 parkland 13 links

Weather at top of links was pouring down visibility limited and a tad hard to follow course layout but that was probably more us but could be improved with a few more way markers.

Great challenge

This must be one the finest courses I’ve ever played. Place was in immaculate condition, and the changes in style (from Parkland to Links) and changes in elevation, couple with unbeatable view of Donegal and Scotland, made this an unbelievable experience.

The greens were fast, true and pristine, and the fairways in great shape also.

You’d be doing yourself a massive disservice, not to play a round here. Stunning experience and the highlight of my trip to Ireland after having played Portrush, Portstewart and Castlerock amongst others. Can’t wait to come back.

Huge variation enjoy game and the variation of the holes. Play it you’ll like it.

Waited 25 minutes after our tee time to tee off, think they had took too many walk ins. Pace of play was ridiculously slow ended up having to skip holes. Bunkers around the greens had no rakes which was a bit strange. Wouldn’t recommend.

First few holes ease you in before the links grab your attention. Pros; course well maintained, greens ran true, clear directions from green to next tee, beautiful scenery, challenging holes with great variety. Cons; be prepared for changeable weather throughout your round, some greens very small targets when the wind is up, from green to next tee some holes criss cross and are a bit of a walk to get to. Would recommend for the confident golfer, however if you are a casual golfer it might be a bit much. Even though the weather was rough throughout the round, the stunning views & variety of holes made it worthwhile. I thoroughly enjoyed it & am glad I played it.

It's a great course and situated in spectacular settings with wonderful views. Couple of little pointers- the greens had been dressed with a heavy layer of sand. By the time we finished play at 1.30 only 3 greens were playable for us!!....... disappointing. The recent bout of hot weather had burnt of most fairway grass, although a feature of most courses at this time. .

As visitors to the course we were confronted by 2 elderly ladies on the 8th hole who challenged were we had come from and maintained we had just appeared out of the blue. Not pleasant, but we carried on.

I would like to play the course again for sure and give the greens a proper go..

Rude, slow, obnoxious and dangerous players would never make you want to play here again.

What a fantastic place to play golf! The views of rathlin and fair head are breathtaking. Great course really good mix of holes with some real links along the coast and parkland. Usual issue with links golf with lots of blind shots and greens close to tee boxes but it’s brilliant all the same. Great day out.
