had a great round
was a great course in every aspect but if playing for your first time bring someone who has played the course.
Will Definitely be back to this course, really enjoyed it
Great Value for money
Round today was absolutely great, course was busy but I had no problem with other players letting me play on through for fast pace of play, greens were surprisingly quick and also very well kept. The round starts with a beautiful tee shot over a water fountain and onto a dog leg left fairway surrounded by trees. The walk around the course was easy with not to many steep hills, the par 3s were nice and short as well, but still challenging with smaller greens and bunkers defending all round the edges of each hole. This golf course is definitely a must play especially for the price of it!
Enjoyable Round
Course is in great condition, very walkable with a fair level of trickiness on certain holes if you are un familiar with the layout (6th Hole). Can seem quite tight to a novice golfer like myself but nice to try and challenge yourself to keep the ball straight.
Nice atmosphere in the clubhouse after, very welcoming environment.
Decent condition though layout basic
The course was in good condition, fast greens which were very dry made stop ball on green difficult. Course layout is typical parkland course, most holes run up along side each other and relatively straight in general with only accordion unique aspect. Was ok, prob try somewhere different next time
You need accuracy
Course in great condition if your not accurate you will struggle really makes you focus, great day and great pint of guiness in the clubhouse with friendly staff.
Pleasantly surprised
Booked this course last minute on golf now wasn’t expecting much due to the price but we were very pleasantly surprised by this course. Was in great condition, nice mature well set out course, fairways and greens in excellent condition and club house was very good too. Will definitely be back, gonna book for our society next year.
Twilight golf
I was looking for a game after work and came across this course. 1st 6 holes very tight then the course opens up with some difficult par 4s. Special mention for the 16th which is very interesting to play.
This round cost £15 on golf now with a warm welcome from the pro.
Great layout , very welcoming
Course has a really cool layout despite only being a par 69.
Members were all really welcoming as were staff in pro shop
Only slight criticism was the greens, some rolled and looked fantastic , others were patchy and worn - probably to be expected for Winter though.
Fairways soft in places but same could be said for anywhere , lift clean and place to the green so no issues. Will def be back in the summer

Good Challenge, lovely course
Beginner golfer but loved it, staff and golfers very friendly, first time playing a tougher course so ‘the dam’ put me in my place but will definitely be back.
Cracking Carrick
Nice day out at Carrick GC. Greens were in lovely order but a bit soft in places. Will definitely play again but in the summer.
Tight course well maintained with superb greens
A nice course with super greens,very tight tree lined so the focus was straight hitting off the tee.
Fantastic Greens, great value for money
Greens were in fantastic condition, fastest I’ve played on in a while. Lovely course overall and great value, will be back.
