Good course. Great value. Staff friendlness second to none
Had a very enjoyable day at Bushfoot.
Great welcome by all staff.
Great food and service.
Really enjoyed the course but bring plenty of balls with you..
If you go off the fairway into the rough you have a good chance of being lost.

Bushfoot Golf Club
Challenging course, 9 hole with dual and single tee boxes. Beautiful scenery, tight small greens, and an enjoyable round of golf. Will definitely play again.
Great 9 hole links course.
Great condition. Some different r boxes which give variety when playing 18 holes
Challenging nine in the wind
A gem of a wee course some great holes, a challenge for even the best golfers in the wind
Stunning views
I played again at Bushfoot but the first time for my sister from Canada. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. A few changes due to the winter conditions. It would be helpful to have a temporary sign up explaining one hole which is shortened because of the dampness underfoot. Also a sign showing winter rules for the preservation of the fairways. Yes there’s one on reception door but one at approach of the 1st T box would be good.
Winter set up
Bar staff only personnel onsite when I arrived, half way down 1st fairway somebody came out if bar and shouted we are not supposed to play off fairway and yo move ball to 1st cut area, would have been nice to have been told before round, also all bunkers immaculate so had to assume bunkers are GUR
Bushfoot a delight
Great 9 hole course. Would be wrong to call it a holiday course, it’s much better than that. Challenging in parts but the greens are terrific. We played it after a deluge of rain but it was only boggy in one part and very playable. Straight driving is key and there is plenty of trouble for the wayward.
The views of the Bush river are simply gorgeous and there is also the charm of the narrow gauge railway that cuts across the course, plus the walkers who have right of way on the 4th hole.
All in all, a real delight and a pleasant surprise in a part of the world where great courses abound.
Links Ireland
A challenging 9 hole course in good condition. When the wind blows it makes club selection even more important. Club House food excellent as well
Casual round at Bushfoot
After about 30 years since I last played at Bushfoot, my wife and I decided to have a casual round. Booked through GolfNow hot deal. Staff very welcoming. Had to be told by locals where the first tee was. Signage throughout a bit sporadic, for example finding the 3rd tee.
Course was great. The first hole is alongside the river Bush where it meets the sea and is gorgeous. The hole too is super with a testing drive and good second to a narrow green. Straight driving necessary here but all greens reachable in regulation. The par 3’s are fun too.
For visitors it is great to play the same 9 holes, now that you have learned (probably the hard way) where you are going.
All in all, a great round for a very reasonable green fee. Look forward to giving it another try soon.
Slow pace and skipped hole at 12th hole
Slow pace and backed up due to being 9 hole course. Sadly at 12th hole round was ruined by green keepers working mid round and at 1.30 pm the course hole was closed. We teed off and they seen that but we still had to wait 10mins to hit 2nd shot (witnessed by secretary) and while watching them on their phone taking their time. After 10mins Sadly we were told to skip the hole and they advised 3 other groups to move on also. I really don’t think as a member or paying public it’s acceptable to be asked to skip holes or greens to be closed mid round in the middle of the day. I thought green keepers did maintenance early mornings or late during day.? Not at this course the 12th hole skipped and grass cutting when teeing off and also when putting no respect shown to paying public by not stopping work for 5mins. In 30 years I’ve never experienced this and I won’t be back at this course to experience it again it was embarrassing.
Excellent course. Worth a go!
Reception staff very courteous and helpful. Booked through GolfNow booking. Very good value. The course is in excellent condition. The food was excellent in the restaurant. .
Picturesque and challenging course
The course itself is absolutely stunning and well maintained. Greens were in a great condition considering the recent hot spell of weather. Only down side was when we arrived. The course must have issues with people parking in the car park to do other activities. One of my playing partners was driving a motor home, and the other a truck with canoes on the roof (they were both on vacation) and we’re immediately challenged if they were there to play golf - despite the golf trolleys at both.
Would love to come back and play again.
