Donaghadee Golf Club

Fantastic place and course. Greens in excellent condition. Would highly recommend . Fish and chips in restaurant as good as you would get anywhere.

Fairways and greens in fantastic condition, was really blowy and a real challenge, members very polite and welcoming, pro was an absolute gentleman as well. Hit a 6 iron at 14 to one inch from the green and next shot was a p/w as the gravity and wind took over and rolled back 112 yards, hilarious (not !!! ) seriously tough course in the wind. Can't wait to go back 10/10.

Donaghadee golf club is situated in a place of beauty with stunning views. The greens were excellent. Those are the only good points we found. When registering in the pro shop the chap was very rude and ignorant when told I had booked through Golf now. Because of his manners and attitude I will not be back to Donaghadee golf club and will advise friends against it

Really nice course with loads of interesting features, not anyone wanting a easy saunter but a good walk enhanced.

Guy in the shop was very friendly and helpful. The course was in excellent condition. The pace of play was great, especially as there was golfers on every hole and the fact there was a howling wind. A great day we had. It was my first game in 5 months and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Unfortunately when I booked it was not forthcoming that pro shop was closed and that course was only open for 9 holes. I understand that it's difficult times we are in covid-19.

But surely information should be made available at time of booking in golf now

Great course . Great value for money best greens I've played on this year

I called the course the day before and asked if there were any temporary greens or if you had to use plastic mats to play from. I was told there was only 1 temporary green. We showed up no staff there to let us in to use the toilet could not get a score card and our tee time was pointless as there was a society who play every Sunday no tee tea just however many show up is what a couple of them told us so we had to wait. Turns out there was 3 temporary greens and I do mean temporary! Also temporary tee boxes well forward of the main boxes. The greens that were in play were in decent condition and so was the fairways. Could do with some more signage but that's the same with most courses they seem to expect visitors to know where to go. Some nice holes to.play at this course very local course not overly friendly but I guess we aren't there to make friends but to play golf but it certainly wouldn't make us rush back.

Very forgiving course with friendly staff and well marked out tee boxes, some temporary greens and tee boxes but something you expect in winter! The greens that are open are in great shape!

Excellent condition for this time of year. Fairways like carpets. Great greens. Friendly staff.

There was too much sand on the greens making them near unplayable

Good golf to be had at Donaghadee at a very competitive rate. Friendly staff always a bounous and the food was great.
