There are only temporary greens and actual greens are all dead. It is depressing to look at that. My cart was stuck in the hole in the rough, the staff was asking my email for a possible damage of the cart. He seem absolutely not care of my own safety. I almost got hurt and had to walk carrying my bag. This course seems to go bankrupt again. Pretty sad!

I understand that they have temporary greens but the condition of the rest of the course is just as horrible. Dry, patchy grass and fairways mainly consisting of dirt. This place should be closed until they get it into playing shape. I only paid $15 and still feel like I got robbed, couldn't even finish the round course was unplayable.

THE OWNER SHOULD BE IN JAIL FOR FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. THIS IS NOT A GOLF COURSE.
This place is an absolute dump all the way around.... from the staff to the course condition. Honestly the 20 dollar fee is 30 dollars too much.
I understand that they are installing new greens which is fine. That was fair warning before I made a tee time. But the condition of the rest of the course is inexcusable. I’m not sure who is leaving all these positive reviews but these people must be insane or fake. The tee boxes TERRIBLE. The fairways and rough TERRIBLE!!!! the STAFF is unprofessional
Club house. An absolute joke. I asked if they served food and the kid said we only sell those “pre made” sandwiches but if I were you I would only have the one upfront on the far right don’t eat any of the others ones. Needless to say I didn’t eat any food at this place.
The only decent thing about this place were the golf carts

Temporary Greens
The round was cheap because the course is currently undergoing major renovations starting with the greens. There are temporary greens on every hole. I hope that the new management group continues to put the money into the course since it was once a great track a long time ago. I will not play it again until the renovations are completed. I think that is a good year or more out.

Falls Village - 06/15/2019
This course needs help. The fairways were ok. The sandtraps are unplayable. Literally, you have to drop your ball out of the sand traps. This is an issue that will hinder this course for some time. Beginning June 18, 2019, the course will be changing over their greens so they anticipate having temporary greens for two months. I hope the management addresses the sandtraps as well. If they do, I may revisit, but not until then.

Great lay out.
I want to give this course a good review but ever time I go it just seems to be going the wrong way , it has a awesome lay out, great carts but it's just not taking care of , maybe they will turn things around soon , golf now, it's no longer there, just some strange things going on , would love to see them make it. But for now it's rough... Sorry...

We will be on temporary greens on all 18 holes while we transition from our old bent grass greens to brand-new champion Bermuda greens this summer. We'll be priced appropriately throughout the greens renovation project, and we hope we have the chance to welcome you back for a much-improved golf experience soon.

Overall, course was fun and playable. Greens were in good Shape, but slow. Major problem with the bunkers, but they are apperently dealing with it. Definitely good weekday deal

Going back down
There hasn't been sand in the bunkers for some time. The greens were in poor shape last summer. I was surprised the greens were in good shape this Spring. However, the greens are showing distress in May.
Played Memorial Day.. No one worked the clubhouse. The young man working the front was friendly and helpful but seemed to be alone.

Where’s the sand?
This would be a very good course but the traps are all mud. There is NO sand in any of the many traps. Greens and fairways are really good but the traps need A LOT of attention.

Falls OK
My colleague and I have played here fairly frequently. We found the course to be in pretty good shape with the exception of the barren sand traps. There is not much point to having them with no sand and only hard packed dirt or mud. Otherwise, greens were in good shape, fairways were rock hard but it has been dry.

Avoid.
This was my first and probably last round at the this course. First off, the bunkers looked like the salt flats in Utah. They were completely washed out and had not been raked since it last rained. Greens were spotty and hard as concrete. Not sure when they were watered last, but even a simple pitch shot would hit and run 30 feet by the hole. Fairways and rough we nearly indistinguishable. This course would be a challenge even if it was in good condition. The margin between the rough and unkept woods (not trees) was minimal. That’s more a testimony on my poor play, but you couldn’t get a good lie anywhere on the course. To add insult to injury it was $45 a round. Not worth the price. All that said... the staff was friendly. Amenities are minimal though. The clubhouse doesn’t prepare any food and a coke and snickers on the course cost $4.75. Avoid.

Good course but make sure to bring water. No water in the coolers and it was 90 degrees.
This is a fun course to play with a good layout. The bunkers are in terrible shape but they let you know that up front. Biggest issue is they don’t keep water in the coolers as they should, we played when it was 90 degrees and all the coolers were empty. Pace of play was good.

Thirsty
Course is in good condition except sand traps but if you don't hit in them it's not a problem. The pace of play was good. The staff seemed friendly enough. The course layout can be tough if you don't play disciplined. My only complaint is it was 90 degrees outside and very humid and there was no water in any of the coolers on the course. I know I should have brought my own and will next time, but wouldn't you think they could have some water on a day like today??
