Falls Village Golf Course

When this course open. It was great!

Now it’s just neglected.

As others have stated, this course is falling into disrepair and should be avoided. Tee boxes are basically dirt, the fairway grass is sparse, and the greens are splotchy and bumpy with many bare spots. Bunkers are terrible and the cart paths are broken cement. On the plus side (and there are not many) the guy in the proshop was friendly and they did have cold water in the coolers on the course.
The layout is good and it's a shame they cannot get the course playable. Stay away until (if?) the reviews get better.

The course is coming along nicely. Fairways and approach to Green's are great. Greens are coming in fairly well, a little slow but I think that was b/c they had not been cut. Probably trying to let them grow in good before summer heat hits. Bunkers still need work but good course for the value.

Tee boxes are almost bare. Greens are loaded with winter kill. Fairway are sparse in spots. This is a great layout that has just been let go. I played it a lot across the years and this is the worst I have seen it. It's a shame

This used to be a nice course......unfortunately it's not anymore. Fairways are patchy with grass, greens are dead around the edges, sand traps are mud traps half of which are filled with water....it hasn't rained in 6 days! The course layout is nice, and used to be a great course to play. I was very disappointed in the conditions. The clubhouse has always been not that impressive and the snack bar lacks but it used to be you had a great course to play. I'm not sure if it's new ownership in place, but whoever is in charge is running this place into the dirt....literally. Way overpriced for what you get. Go to their sister course Chapel Ridge if you want a quality golfing experience where you won't be disappointed.

The layout has potential (blind tee shots notwithstanding) but the extremely poor conditions of the course made it almost unplayable. The rough was more forgiving than the fairway... at least there's some grass! And the greens were just awful. Patchy, bumpy, and completely impossible to do more than just get it close on your lags. Not a single putt rolled true. $22 is the absolutely max I would pay for this course and that might be overpaying a little... For another $10, you can play a dozen courses in the area that are 5x the quality. Skip this one.

I love the layout of this course but the greens were not good and it was not due to aeration. In addition there is no sand in the traps.

Good layout (No houses on course) decent price, pace of play average friendly staff.

Aereated greens about 4 weeks ago and still a little bumpy. Fairways still thin and bare from winter.

It will get better as it warms up

The staff worked very hard to successfully accommodate an extra player who unexpectedly showed up to join our confirmed foursome. We all enjoyed a good round in the course which is in good shape.

The new owners of Falls Village it seems they have forgotten to spend $ on better greens and bunkers. It is an embarrassing that this course has done nothing to fix their bunkers and their green aerification did not look good especially hole #18.

The overall layout is good but the greens are needing attention but the bunkers are so poorly managed and the rack per bunker are so old they are not fully operational. What is it going to take for this course to be more playable? Only the new owners know that answer and they must be confused on how to manage this course.

The last several times I've played this course the green have been in terrible condition and were again today, bunkers are all rock, and the pace of play was just a touch over 5 hours for 18 holes.

Wow what a disappointment! Terrible greens, fairways, bunkers and they have the audacity to charge full rate! Please save your money and time and stay away from this course! Lesson learned

They just punched and sanded the greens two days before. They need the take some of the sand they put on the greens and use it for their bunkers. Other than that it’s a fun course.

I love the layout of this course challenging but fair. If they would fix their bunkers this course would easily be one of the tops in the area. The bunker on hole # 3 is great. Please fix the bunkers on the other holes. If they were fixed more golfers would be flocking to this course. They already have a fair amount of patrons.

Since spring seemed finally to have arrived, the course was busy ; However, play moved right along. Course was in good shape for just after winter. A bit wet, but very enjoyable to play. Greens were in great shape. Bunkers had some standing water. We enjoyed our golf date and will play this course again when we are in the area.
