Poston Butte Golf Club

Course in great shape for Summer play. Wound up in Sand Traps a few times but that is my normal game. Fairways are well groomed and nice and wide. Greens are tricky and make play interesting. Beverage cart shows up regularly during play. You can have a great day playing this course.

I really enjoy playing this golf course because I love the layout and the challenging set up.

The course has been recently aerated and extensive work is being done to the fairways so the course was a little rough to play. The maintenance are doing on the golf course is imperative for the Establishment of quality turf grass. I look forward to playing my next round a Poston Butte.

What a great day for golf! We really enjoy the layout of this golf course. Obviously they were doing maintenance on the greens, tees, and fairways which made some of the conditions a little rough. We also know that these are necessary in order to keep the course looking as good as it does. We will be back for sure!

Greens still very bumping and lots of dead grass and or no grass around the greens.

I was charged $45.00 + tax to play on a course with all greens punch! Very bumpy. Fairways that were punched! Impossible to play golf. No heads up the course was in this kind of condition. I should get two free rounds at the same course in maybe 6 weeks. The worst part is I told my partner this was a great course. Bad day with Golfnow and no warning from the man that took my money. So sad

Played this Beautiful GC a few times never has disappointed

Was amazed to find a deal for two at 10am for $51 at Poston Butte. A favorite course. Now I know why greens, fairways all punched. Of course fairways also wet. Did not hit a shot without mud on the ball. Looked like the greens had been punched Monday/Tuesday played on Friday. No warning, I guess the price should have told me, but all other tee times around that time was for $41 per. Love to play the course, had we known the conditions we would just wait until July, heat doesn't scare us off. Knowing that no one published the conditions does scare us off for future trips. Explained why the members were not on the course but at the range.

Just be aware they are plugging and sanding the fairways right now. Not all at once. Play the rough on the plugged holes. Greens are fine.

The course was in decent shape for this time of year. Bunkers were good still a lot of people did not take after being in them. Did not get a chance to use the restaurant but the food is always excellent. Always a relaxing time with the family when we play there.
