Poston Butte Golf Club

We were backed up on yet another tee box and visited with some folks behind us who are regulars at Poston Butte. They said that it's this slow ALL the time. We had golfed here 4-5 years ago and it wasn't that slow. This visit, however, will be our last time. Pace was too slow to be enjoyable. We won't be back.

Very nice course and facility. The various tees make it fun for all levels. Summer is taking its toll in some areas. Staff was super. We will definitely be back.

Considering the heat, it's in pretty darn good shape. Greens, tees and fairways were all very playable. Nothing was dry and brown. There were a couple of complaints about sand depth in some traps but we had a great day on a fine course. Staff is always great. Well done PB.

The fairways and greens were in excellent condition. The staff was helpful.

It was a very hot day and we saw the beverage girl once on 18 holes. More often would have been nice.

Finding a great golf course in Arizona is not very hard. This course is about an hour behind Casa Grande. One hour behind Casa Grande is just about nothing. This is an over 55 community with a Troon Golf course.. The tee boxes are great. There is about an 80 yard gap from front to back at the tee boxes. The fairways are in great condition. There is no rough. There is first cut and dirt.

The greens were in good shape. They are probably the biggest challenge on the course. There are no easy or 3's. If you can get out of any of these par 3's with a par be satisfied.

It is a good place. But You could drive a lot less for a 50 dollar great golf course.

Awesome, course was amazing. Great views very nice course. Can't wait to play again.

Golf course was in very good condition overall; however, greens had recently been dressed with fine granules of fertilizer, causing the need for some minor adjustment. Sand traps were n good standing (and there are many). The only downside (and outside the realm of GC management) was the excessive wind, creating the situations to make club selection adjustments that don’t always work as planned.. Our threesome very-much enjoyed our 4 hour round.. The 1.4 hour drive (each way) was worth it!!!

Course looks amazing. You are made to feel appreciated from the time you arrive till you leave the restaurant after your round. Tee boxes and fairways were perfect. Greens were odd, firm but slow. The shop crew were proud of the greens speeds and cautioned all of us to beware of the speed and undulation on the greens. Spent the round having to take extra long backswings and follow thoughs to get the putt to reach the hole on putts. Will be back often now that things are returning to normal.

Excellent course worth the trip if you never played there. Great food at the clubhouse for lunch or dinner.
