The Links at Greenfield Plantation combines a rare mix of championship golf with affordability surrounded by a breathtaking natural environment. This is a course that calls for deliberate club selection as it weaves through beautiful marshes and under bridges, punctuated only by sparkling lakes and large bunkers surrounding undulating greens. Four sets of tees determine your challenge. The new clubhouse features a snack bar and well-stocked pro shop. A courteous staff is available to see to all your golfing needs. Located just two miles east of I-75, Exit 220 in Bradenton, The Links is just minutes away from St. Petersburg, Tampa, and Sarasota.

Greens in nice shape.. Fairways, some rough spots… Tee boxes ok… Overall course needs some TLC
Keeps getting better
I've played Greenfield Plantation about six times over the past 5 years, and each time, the course conditions have improved. Especially fond of the fairway bunkers with brown firm sand and greenside bunkers with white fluffy sand. The staff has always been friendly, greens stay at a decent speed and consistent, and the food is very good and reasonably priced.

Great value for money!
Greenfield is truly a wonderful experience! Played there from mid-October until early December. The pleasant experience begins when welcomed by Pat or Ed at the bag drop off area, and who are also the starters. The welcoming experience continues at the pro shop with Jeff and Jay. The course is challenging and the marshalls, Ed and Kevin ensure the pace of place is respected. (Kevin, in this era of political correctness, you should wear a cap to hide that head full of hair for those less fortunate ones like me who have a follicular challenge. lol!

Great fairways
The fairways are the best kept of many courses in the area. The course is challenging and fun. Bring extra balls because there is a lot of water around the course.
A good experience
The course was in good condition, the pace of play was good considering the number of players. Overall, a good experience.
A nice layout that is always crowded
The course has been recently seeded, tee to green there was decent turf. The tee grounds had grass but it was tough to find a level spot anywhere on many tees. Tee grounds should not have either uphill or downhill lies. The greens were a bit shabby (not closely mowed perhaps due to seeding?). The pace of play was painful for our threesome as we waited on nearly every shot and every hole. Greenfield gets a great deal of play and you should expect slow play unless you are a slow player yourself. The course is pretty and the layout is nice and for this time of year their prices were fair.
