The Links at Greenfield Plantation

Course is ok but my god, the geriatric knobs that have no clue what pace of play is ruin it every time.

Great, fun layout! Lots of water on the tough holes and tee shots require accuracy! Nice test of golf!

Staff was horrible, I had an 11:32am tee time and the starter threatened me at 11:10am while I was on the range just starting to warm up that if I didn't go to the first tee box with the other twosome we were playing with then I wouldn't be able to go out until 330pm. After trying to explain I was warming up and that my tee time wasn't for another 20 minutes he then proceeded to get even louder shouting at me to hurry up before I lost my spot. I then went upstairs to complain in the proshop what just happened and he called down on walkie talkie to let that guy know we weren't scheduled for another 20 minutes. I ended up heading the the first tee only to be stuck behind 2 foursomes and it took almost 5 hours to finish my round. During the round we never once saw another group behind us so I'm really not sure why we were rushed out just to wait for the group in front of us on every hole. Worst $90 I've spent playing a course in pretty rough shape. Greens were below average and tee boxes were the worst I've seen in many years.

I played with a twosome and had a good time. There are some surprises where slopes above a pond extends impossibly far into the fairway.

I will return next year.

The overall course is in good shape . The only criticism I have is the tees on the par 3 holes.

They are crowned and it makes it hard to get a decent shot from them

Played on a gorgeous February day. Our tee time was 12:45 and they sent us of a couple minutes early on.y to hit a log jam on hole 2. For some players it’s a driveable par 4 and many people try and fail which slows down play for a couple of holes. Other than that there is water in play on most holes for errantly struck shots,

The greens had some rough areas and they put the holes in the worst parts of the green which also slowed down play.

Overall the staff couldn’t have been friendlier and the rangers were out of the course trying to keep playmmoving along but we still had a 4:46 minute round for our four some.

The sand in traps was ok and tee boxes and fairways are slightly above average for a public course that’ gets plenty of play.

This course is in excellent condition from tee to green . Pace of play fantastic played in under 4 hours . Lots of water comes into play but it mainly plays lateral on the fairways ..

This course is reasonably challenging and reasonably priced (even the food and drink is reasonable.) As a result it gets a lot of play unfortunately the 8 minute spacing between tee times is not enough for the average golfer considering that this course is above average in difficulty. Fun to play but a lot of waiting between shots.

From the start of the Round, staff was unfriendly. They don’t allow coolers that the course provides to be used without purchase. Can’t even store water in them unless you bought the water from the course. The staff pulled the cooler off my cart stating this rule.

Course conditions were fair. Some Greens showed signs of repair from fungus. Rough was brown and burnt out.

Overall I give the course a C rating.
