The Links at Greenfield Plantation
Nice course for the price.
Not really a true "links" style course, however, it is a well-maintained course that provides a reasonably challenging and enjoyable round of golf.
The pace was a little bit slow but considering that our play was during the busy Christmas holiday vacation period, it was worth it. Will play the course again in future visits, and would recommend it to anyone.
Design and Value
This course will challenge your tee shot with numerous holes aligned with water. Its challenging but fair! Club selection will be tested. I will play this course again and will recommend it to others. Great course and great value!
Great course
Our foursome thoroughly enjoyed our round. The fairways, rough, tee boxes and greens are in excellent conditions. We will return to Greenfield without hesitation and will not hesitate to suggest us to our golfing buddies.
Great staff, quirky layouy
Staff is extremely welcoming and friendly. Playing on vacation with wife and 2 teen daughters. Everyone went out of their way to welcome us. Course is in decent shape. Thr layout is quirky. Target golf and lots of water. Not sure a hacker or someone who can't move the ball with some skill will love it.
Great coarse , nice greens. They were very prompt and friendly
Bang for your buck
We quickly decided that this course will be on our short list for the first round of a Sarasota trip. Conditions weren't great given we played at the end of December, but the nice variety and challenge in course layout made it a great value. A full driving range would be nice, but they have a few mats to hit irons into the lake as a warm up. Greens are not fast or very challenging, but were rolling true even in the lousy weather.
Great value
Challenging layout, greens roll very well, hard to beat this place for the money.
Awesome Course!
From the moment we arrived everyone was so nice and made sure we knew where to go, got our carts set up, and directed us to the pro shop. The course was in excellent shape from the tee boxes to the greens and fairways. There are many holes that require some thought as to how to play them. Great layout ! Don't let the distance from the white tees (5800 yards) fool you. I'm a 10 handicap and had plenty to challenge me. I highly recommend playing this course!
Pleasant Day
Pace of play has always been the issue I’ve had with this course. The presence of a ranger was a pleasant surprise. Find a way to keep the cart girl and Ranger in place year round, and I will be playing there more often.. course conditions were good, but greens could always be faster.
Local
I have played this course a lot over the years. Always enjoyed it. Some areas are a little rough but still very fun.
Staff very friendly pace of play good, starter, on course ranger all excellent.
Would recommend if in the area.
Ranger an bev cart are on course 7 days per week from November through april, and weekends off season. 100% committed to our customers experience. Friendliest staff in town, great prices, great conditions.
