About
The Links at Greenfield Plantation combines a rare mix of championship golf with affordability surrounded by a breathtaking natural environment. This is a course that calls for deliberate club selection as it weaves through beautiful marshes and under bridges, punctuated only by sparkling lakes and large bunkers surrounding undulating greens. Four sets of tees determine your challenge. The new clubhouse features a snack bar and well-stocked pro shop. A courteous staff is available to see to all your golfing needs. Located just two miles east of I-75, Exit 220 in Bradenton, The Links is just minutes away from St. Petersburg, Tampa, and Sarasota.

Great day!
12:04 tee time on a beautiful Sunday afternoon for two of us and we had the best time. The course is in very good condition right now and for whatever the reason we ran into no one until the 17th hold so we played a full round in under 3 hours. I hadn't been to this course in quite some time, but will definitely visit it more often. It's not a fancy high end country club, but they have everything you need in the pro shop and decent food and beverage prices too. Not really a driving range, but you can loosen up hitting balls into the lake.
Just Fine.
Tony and his crew have this course in great shape. Plenty of grass on the fairways and tee boxes, fluffy white sand in the bunkers, and nicely rolling greens - not too fast, and certainly not too slow. I'm looking forward to returning here soon.
Good review
Greenfield is a very nice public course without the stuffiness. Great value and friendly staff.
Lack of range is the only downside.
Poor course
I have played this course many times and it just keeps getting worse. The tee boxes and the greens are in terrible shape. Putting is a challenge .When you putt the ball will hit a bump on the green and the ball is diverted from the hole. This adds extra strokes to your score. In two tee boxes the Weeds have grown so tall that you can't see the flag on the green.
Water, water everywhere...
There is literally water in play on EVERY hole. If you have less than perfect distance and accuracy control, bring a lot of balls. You're going to need them.
Links at GP
I thought that the staff was pretty nice BUT, we weren’t informed of needing to have the carts in by 7:00. We teed off at 3:16, it would have been nice to know, We only managed to get 15 holes in. The course was in pretty decent shape, greens rolled true and held good shots.
SemiWeekly golfer
The Links at GP are consistently well maintained with hazards that create challenges for the average golfer. Have played the course maybe 25 times over past 2 years. Only suggestion is for rangers to move slow players along faster sometimes.
Great first round
This was a very nice track, especially compared to what i expected. Very challenging course also. Played well, but a lot places to get into trouble.

I have no idea what this golfer is talking about. Course is in excellent shape and is the best value in town. Super friendly staff and great conditions from tee to green. Please read our other more recent reviews for a better understanding of our conditions. If you read our reviews you will hear over and over again how nice the course is, how friendly the staff is, and how we are a GREAT bang for the buck.
