Great day at the Links!
We and our two neighbors made the trip from St. Petersburg to Bradenton. Great sunny day and the course is in the best shape I have ever seen it. We all had a great time... and we finished in time to enjoy a great dinner on the water in downtown Bradenton.
Nice course and great layout
Great course to play. Lots of water.
This was our second time playing this course, and both times they had groups stacked too tight. Made for a lot of waiting between shots. Would be perfect if they staggered their times more.
Must have a hamburger at the turn!
Now I know where the water comes out
I gotta get back here and tame this course. It ate me alive as I struck the ball nicely, but the roll didn't help me.
So now I know and will course manage better. I love this links style. Makes you think. Greens are wnderful. Rolled at 10 on stint. Could be faster. That's my only suggestion
Fairways green and quite playable - greens excellent
Fairways were green and quite playable. Greens were excellent. Grass on tees was very long. OK driving surface. I would do it again. Blue tees are a bit of a carry at times. If you are not long off the tee from the blues ....... consider moving up to the whites. Blues are 6,200+ while the whites are 5,700+.
Quite a difference. Might want to consider making up your own blue/white combination. Counter staff in club house a bit grumpy. Ranger was cheerful and helpful in moving play along.
Ordinary At Best
This is a short, flat, noisy course. You hear trucks and cars everywhere. There is no real challenge to it. Conditions were fair. The practice area consisted of 3 mats and floating balls. The pace of play was slow.
If you are a super senior you will like it. If your serious about your game then skip it.
Well maintained, great greens. Excellent value.
Excellent value, course well maintained, greens are great, gps in carts!. There is a lot of water, fair course depending on tees you play. Very noisy on the many road holes. We were paired with another couple, course full, played in under 4 hrs. I will be back.
New year
Played course today and had a great time course was in. Great condition
Pairing
I like how they pair you up with other golfers. As a single, this is very good. We finished the round in under 4 and 1/2 hours. Course was in good shape. A couple of greens had worn out areas but nothing serious. I’ll play this course again and again.
Nice layout and beautiful day but...
Play was painfully slow. Marshall needs to move groups along that have a open hole in front of them.
Greenfield, the winter home of golf
I've played this course from November to April and it still is a great value, no matter the time. Greens in Nov. are finally speeding up and the course in in fine shape right now. The kitchen staff is the best I've ever seen. Make you feel right at home. Prices for food are very reasonable and even though the clubhouse is small the outside view is right over the lake and course. The course is challenging for any golfer. Be careful if you stray off centre too much, the slopes to the water are closer than you think. Walking the course won't work. Green to tee distances are too far. The owner is always trying to make the course better.

Course was in pretty good condition. While a little slow on the front, pace picked up on back nine. Greens were a little slow, but rolled true.
Have played here before and hope to be back again
Good course for price
Overall good conditions. Despite being really busy pace of play was good. Well done by starter and ranger. Challenging layout and course plays longer than yardage. Would play again.

Tee to green the course is in good shoe. Greens - while rolling ok - where very slow. They have done a nice job getting this course back to a playable option - just need to kick it up on the greens a bit so being above the hole is a tough putt again! A positive experience overall.
For anyone reading this review, we have 2 holes that go along SR 64. The rest of the course is a walk through nature. And in my 7 plus years owing this course, no one has ever said that it wasn’t challenging. Water on 17 holes. It’s a very fun layout. You will love it.
