The Georgia Club - Chancellors Red/Black Course

We were scheduled to play the Black and Red course. The starter suggested we start early and play the Red and Silver instead. We wouldn't be behind 2 foursomes that way. The pace was smooth and we never felt rushed.

I have played this course several times in the past 2 years. It has always been one of the best courses on my list. With three different courses, it offers a great variety of terrain and yardage. I like teeing off early so pace of play is usually not a problem for me. I would definitely recommend this course.

Booked my tee time on golfnow.com to play at the Georgia club. But very disappointed how golfnow.com or the club house didn't notified customers (me).at least green conditions should be posted on the Web on every courses. It was a waste of my time and day to drive 45 mins to play disaster green.

Best greens I've played of all the area courses. Course condition was outstanding. Quality experience all around. Some of the yardages from the on cart GPS seemed questionable. Will definitely play it again. Played Red and Silver. Want to try the Black.

Great shape, many tee options for all levels, greens were fair not too fast. Tablets on carts to give you a view of the hole and distances was helpful

I wish I played as well as this course deserves. Superior condition. Challenging but not unforgiving.

The Georgia Club offer 3 excellent 9 hole courses so no matter how many times you play 18 holes it's never boring. The "Red" & "Black" courses are secluded with little to no housing around. The ""Silver" course does have housing on most holes but the houses are not on top of the golf course like so many other courses I've played. It's a GREAT design!

The food is also excellent and you never know what former Georgia Bulldogs players you might see having lunch. The facilities are amazing.

Excellant competitive match on a great course. Club selection is key on this course, greens roll true and the rough are extremely tuff to hit out of.

Our foursome really enjoyed this course. Our age ranges were from 37 - 78 and all different abilities. We would definitely play this course again.

This course is one of the nicest courses I have played in NE Georgia. I try to play it every time I visit!

I played the black and silver courses (not red). The course layout was just the way I like it... rolling, large greens, wide fairways, plenty hazards and doglegs to not be easy, but nothing that I would consider evil. The greens were in decent shape, especially for how very soft they were, a few marks and scars here and there. They were mowed tight and rolled true but firm is the opposite of how I'd describe them. It was great for someone like me that needs a little more "grab" since my balls seem to spin the wrong way.
Overall a great experience.

Played Red to Black. Great mix of holes.Some very tough holes but also several easy birdie oppotunities. Course is in great shape!

My son ( a UGA student) and I try to play different courses around Athens. This 27 hole course is in a beautiful community. Well kept greens, some water hazards, lots of long holes. This is a moderately challenging course that appears to be well run. Nice upscale clubhouse and restaurant.

Outstanding facilities (clubhouse, practice and course, all in great shape); staff was friendly and helpful; saw ranger and cart girl 4-times making their rounds during play; fairway and greens well maintained (only a few ball marks on the greens not repaired, but foot tracks and divots in the traps (not a reflection on the greens-keepers, but lazy players). Greens let the ball bite, putting fast and rolling true. And these were the widest fairways I've ever played. Didn't try the restaurant. Members must realize their memberships is really appreciated at this club, because I've never seen a club that sections parking and driving range for their member only.

Course was in immaculate condition. True second cut around the greens was excellent. Very well manicured fairways and rough. Played Chateau Élan the day prior to this round, this course was so well cared for it was a much better experience at the Georgia Club. Will definitely play again soon.

Beautiful course. All 27 holes are in great shape. It is a challenging but fun tract.

The Georgia Club golf corse was in the best shape of any coourse I can remember in a long time. The entire experience, from the pro shop, to the cart girl, was fantastic. Don't think we saw a blad of dead grass all day. Greens were fantastic and fiarways pristine. It was a great day!

Amazingly, we had the course to ourselves. No one in front of us and no one behind us. The course is always in excellent shape. The food options were very limited due to the bar/restaurant being closed. But a great experience otherwise.

I played the Silver and Red and shot 73. The course is in excellent shape and I booked on golf now for $39 per person. for what you get that is a fantastic value. The course design is excellent and it is maintained wonderfully. The practice facility was also very nice.
