Rough is unkempt

Fairways are passable, preferred lies a must for the low handicaps

Greens are bouncy and slow. Disappointing.

If they just invested in the greens this course would be sooooo much better

......in a long time. Played years ago when was the site of the Honda Classic. Nowhere near the same course conditions as then ..... but decent and worth playing.

First off I’m sure back in it’s hay day this course was immaculate but it appears those days are long gone. The clubhouse itself is in desperate need of an updating since I’m pretty sure the carpet hasn’t been changed since 1992, it looks like every other south Florida golf course that at one time was great. Staff inside was very friendly, knowledgeable about course conditions and helpful. Driving range was irons only which is just odd since they had more than enough room to push it back for a full bag range. Once we started we knew we’d have issues. Group in front of us off the first tee was stacked 8 deep and slow. They hit 2 balls each off the tee and then pretty much chipped their way up every hole with no regard for pace of play. We called the clubhouse on the 7th tee box, after 2 hours of playing to get a ranger to come out and speed things up but that was ineffective. We spoke to the ranger two more times after this and each time he said he would take care of it and each hole we waiting 10 min on the tee box and 15 min in the fairway. We quit at 16 because a 5 hour round of golf is absurd. For almost $200 (100 per player essentially) this is far from worth it. Go play Deer Creek or Jacaranda for the same money. Heck, if you’ve got a buddy you can go play Parkland for that price. Won’t go back, won’t recommend.

First time they charging me 25$ for sharing the cart with my wife! Driving Range in poor condition.

Course was in excellent shape today and pace of play was great. Compared to 3 years ago the property owner has put $ in improvements and it was clearly shown in fairways/greens. I will be back. Another plus is it's in my back yard!

Course layout is a true test. Conditions were great from tees to green. Afternoon rate was a steal for the quality of layout and conditions. Course will humble you but is fun and demanding. Greens were great. I hope it remains this way. We will be back.

Great layout. Great apce of play and friendly staff.

Very deserving of high rating and slope. Back nine particularly demanding. Very good drives are essential. Second shots on short par 4’s do not offer much room for error. Same on par3’s.

Greens putt well and pin positions could be scary but set up was very playable.

Bring your own refreshments- no cart person on course.

Also no yardage markers on course-

only cart oaths marked.

Amazing layout, poor conditioning. Felt like an old, abandoned mansion.

Nice layout, great round. Do not eat here, ordered bacon and eggs and it was terrible—bacon was stuck together, the toast was not toasted...if you can not handle breakfast......

Been playing this course since it opened as a TPC. They wouldn't pay to keep it up to TPC standards and it is a great shame. The layout is very good, the conditions are bad approaching appalling. Not work the $$ at ant price to pay for bad service, because it is still a tough layout the pace of play is slow. Very disappointed - won't be going back.

Eagle Trace is a great golf course . I really like the course layout and the greens were in fantastic shape when we played. We played in 4 hours and twenty minutes so it a bit slow but overall a fun day.

But not unplayable, you can actually put your ball in places where the water does not come into play around the greens.

Most of the greens are manicured nicely.

From the whites the greens are easily reachable and regulation.

Even a novice can get a couple of pars on this course.

Overall fun course to play.
