all bunkers are literally waste areas, like they left them to rot and waste away, other than that, course is in good shape, just avoid the traps at all cost, some are so bad their should be a local rule to get a drop out of the trap.

Drove 45 minutes from my house to find out that the course was sold to a developer and this was the last day the course will be open. The course was not maintained for months/weeks. Sections of the fairway were removed, bunkers had weeds in them and the tee boxes and greens were brown. The fact that they charged $70 and did not have a warning about the course conditions left me furious. Zero stars.

Played here for the first time with a foursome and was VERY DISAPPOINTED. When I showed up to our tee time, we were told it was the last day this course would be played as the course is officially closing and has been going under construction for development of new housing.

We were never disclosed this information when booking which is very frustrating since it was about $70 bucks each for the round and most of the surface was NOT playable. The tee boxes and some of the greens were so dried out they were not playable. The sand traps were unplayable and overgrown with weeds. And there were massive portions of the fairway ripped up and just dirt, completely unplayable. It was ridiculous to have us to play there and just even more frustrating this information was not disclosed to us when booking our tee time. Very disappointing experience.

The course is in horrible shape. Royce Brook sold a significant portion of their land to a home developer. All but three of the holes on the public are part of the sale.

No sand in bunkers. No real tee boxes. Some greens were cut weeds and were completely brown.

Horrible experience. Clearly they’ve stopped any course maintenance a while ago.

Too bad. The course layout is pretty fun and challenging.

My understanding is that this course is closing Monday, as the construction of the new housing development begins sometime in the coming month or so. The course is in bad shape, so best that it closes now. It’s too bad, because I used to enjoy this course, but apparently the offer for the property was too good to turn down. I’m guessing only members will be able to play the west course now, which is disappointing if true.

Should refund us our green fees for not telling us greens were literally brown and fairways completely torn apart working on sodding. So disappointing

East course was not taking care of at all. Looks like they haven't watered in months, greens are all dry, cracked or dirt. Bunkers are all full of weeds and water. Supposedly closing East course and going private with West course only. Used to be a nice course, not worth the $ anymore unless playing the west.

I would rather go to the range then play a course in this condition

It was much better when it’s good condition. They should not take any golfers if they are renovating soon. Most of the surface is not playable and some of the green is not even acceptable. No grasses on the green. It’s ridiculous to have us to play there!!!!

Greens were so dry they were black/brown

Sand traps had grass/weeds growing out of them.

Tee boxes that were completely dead. Fairways that were ripped up that was just hard dirt. Greens that were dead and impossible to put on.

Worst course I ever played on should have been told that they are closing in

By far the worse golf course I’ve ever played, how do you charge $70 to play a course you don’t maintain. My friends and I can make a nicer course with a shovel and a case of beer, no clue how anyone has a job at this place. Should get a refund
