Overall a nice place to play

The staff here needs to grow a pair and enforce pace of play. There was a group of 8 playing as two foursomes right in front of our 6:48am tee time. Well, the number one tee box became their social gathering location and the second group didn’t finish teeing off until 6:51. The number 2 hole had 5 groups stacked. Let’s say the pace never picked up. Space the tee times out or have a starter on the number one tee box to remind how to keep pace of play up. And to the people learning how to golf out there, we’ve all been there. Drop a new ball after 1-2 minutes or stay on the range.

Morgan Creek is a fantastic course with a great layout that is always enjoyable to play. I teed off at 6:30 a.m., which is a beautiful time to get out, although you’ll likely encounter some watering crews early in the morning.

I spent part of the round following the mower, and it was amazing to see how dramatically the freshly cut greens differed from the uncut areas. The course was in great shape overall, and the grounds crew does an excellent job maintaining it.

One thing I’ve noticed is that the flag positions are often quite challenging, but that only adds to the fun and makes you think through every approach and putt. Highly recommend Morgan Creek, especially early in the season when the course is looking its best.

They have improved the greens a great deal. The course is in pretty good condition. Fun to play, just have to be careful about where you hit it. I have made 2 holes in one on the 16th hole, unfortunately I didn't get a third one this time.

Hadn’t played here for a couple years, so was happy to find that the course was in far better condition than what I had been led to believe.

Morgan Creek Golf Course is a fantastic place to play. The layout is challenging but very enjoyable, and the course conditions were outstanding from tee to green. We had an early tee time, and it felt like we had the course to ourselves for most of the day, which made the experience even better. The food was great, and the staff was courteous and welcoming throughout our visit. Definitely a course I’d recommend and look forward to playing again.

Our warm up at the range was shortened due to a horse that had been running loose was escorted through the range homeward.

Beautiful coarse and paired up with a couple of a nice guys. The only issue is the absurd abundance of goose poop all over hole 16. Can anything be done to address this?

interesting design, lots of quirks and difficult shots. as a result, it moves slowly, but no marshal, no effort to find slow players and speed up. one hole had 3 groups waiting, no marshall.
