PERFECT WEATHER PACE AT XLENT COURSE. WILL PLAY MO.

This course has a great layout and it’s pretty challenging. However, conditions could be better. The greens were nice looking but super slow the day my group played, didn’t look like it was mowed. Fairways and rough seemed like they were mowed about 5-6 days before. Staff was super friendly, though and responsive.

The fairways & greens were in excellent condition, the bunkers on the other hand were terrible & completely unplayable!!! They were more dirt than sand and completely packed!!!

Overall course is in fair shape. I only think I see are the bunkers have grass growing in them and the ones that don't are pretty hard at the bottom. Would love to see course conditions improvement this year.

Fairways and rough mowed down but greens were slow

Morgan Creek just opened for the season so the rough was exactly that... rough. Fairways and greens were well maintained which helped with the pace of play. We were pushed by the group behind us and let them play through. Still finished 18 in just under 4 hours with an 8 am tee time. Will definitely play here again.

Course plays pretty good with the wet weather we have been having. Pace of ply was great this day because of the rain hardly anybody was out there. The only thing I would say would be the bunkers are very hard and need weeding especially on the 18th fairway. I would be back to play again.

Fairways and greens are getting better….

BUT….time to work on all bunkers. Need sand. Need edging. Need rakes. Need help or dynamite to blow up.

Greens are nearly excellent. Fairways very good. Some of the rough had dead grass clippings on top due to mowing a few days back but not a problem.

Pace was normal and on schedule

The starter in the pro shop was very nice and told the 2 of us there was time for us to split our 4-some into two 2-somes and it was our option, he didn't care either way. We split up since we didn't know the other golfers and I wanted to work on some aspects of the game without annoying other playa's in my 4-some. So, super relaxing round, everyone happy.

Finally, it appears Morgan is reinvesting in the course. Greens and Fairways are in very nice condition. Practice green repaired by clubhouse. Roping off areas around greens to allow grass to fill in. Replaced ball trays and added rubber tees in the range. Tee boxes still need improvement but worst part of the whole course is every bunker needs edging, needs sand, needs a rake, needs lots of work!

DON'T GOLF HERE. Teed off at 4pm on a Friday, sun sets at 7:30pm, made the turn and got a beverage, got to about the 12th hole at 6:15/6:30pm, and they cut all the sprinklers on... We got wet, our drinks got reclaimed water in them, sun was still high in the sky... We went to talk to the club house and it's a bunch of golf bros that just say "I can't do anything". They take down my name and number and say Loren will take care of me, I never received a call. I called, Loren says I need to talk to TJ, took my name and number down. I again never received a call. I called, "TJ is busy", took my name and number down, never received a call. Called again later in the day, no answer.... If you enjoy paying full price to get half of what you paid for at a mid-tier golf course, getting sprayed with reclaimed water while the sun is in the sky, all to be met with horrible staff and customer service, this is your spot!! I'll make sure none of my friends or leagues play here again. Shady business.

Nice neighborhood. Aesthetically pleasing clubhouse facilities from the outside, inside is nice too but bathrooms not clean at all. Poor course signage - minimal path direction signs, no hole number/yardage signs, faded painted wood tee box markers. Ball cleaning machines not well maintained but carts do have club & ball cleaning buckets on them. Grass not well maintained, pitch marks all over greens, lines scored across some greens, ponds covered in moss/plant thick enough to hit a golf ball off of - I did it. Layout is decent, carts in good repair, nice clubhouse with a lot of TVs for sports.

Please make it completely obvious that the gold club has made physical changes to the course that will impact your game, like sanding and punched the greens.
