Slade Valley Golf Club

Some of the greens were a little slow and later on as it rained started to log due to poor drainage perhaps. Overall pretty challenging hills and dog legs with lots of trees as obstacles.

Few tee boxes have another hole tee box right beside you, the walk from 6-7 is long uphill and across the car park and the 17th or 18th you’ve to tee off across the driveway with cars waiting.

Overall very good course but thought it was a bit expensive even at 35 pp.

Staff in the clubhouse very friendly.

Havent played Slade in 3 years and it’s gone downhill unfortunately. Needs some TLC. Seems they’ve given up on the bunkers, full of stones and weeds. Shop wasn’t open either.

Not very long course and has one section where a few holes cross that can be hard to figure out first time playing but very enjoyable and decent greens. Will go back

Windy day and got out around midday on time, we were a 3 ball behind 4 members who were very slow. The course was in fair condition with fairway grass a bit long and greens were pole forked but not too slow. Course is hilly in some places but not too bad, I'd say it would be a better track in a few weeks time when the weather improves, overall goo value for money.

Probably the friendliest golf club (both members and staff) I've played as a non member anywhere in Ireland. Will definitely be back.

Not flat enough for seniors like us - so would have to givei it a miss in future

Enjoyed the round of golf even in the rain!! Would love to come back on a nice sunny day.
