Amazing Views, Poor Maintenance

This is a beautiful course with a very fun layout encorporating the beautiful hills of the Dublin mountains. There are amazing views of the whole county. Unfortunately there are some dodgy fairways and some questionable greens. If in better condition would be a top top course.

Dissapointing golf course, poor facilities and course is clearly not looked after

This will be my second time and most likely the last time I return to Slade Valley, pro club are friendly and the food is also very good, however the golf course is badly maintained, very confusing layout, hard to distinguish between fairway and rough, seems to be wild grass everywhere. Green are not bad and probably the best part of the course, there was 2 groups of 4 balls ahead of us, pace was extremely slow and we ended up leaving with 4 holes to play. Views are nice on a few holes but not worth the 30Eur they are asking for especially in winter. Hopefully they will invest in ground keeping but cant see this happening,

Test of Stamina

Slade Valley is a reasonably well laid out golf course with well placed trees dividing the fairways on many of the holes. It's not a long course, however the greens are it's strongest asset. We found it a little too straight forward, but there are a few holes where you do have to think strategically.

The course was in a fair condition with the exception of poorly maintained bunkers. It appeared to us as if no new development work has taken place here in over 20 years.

What we liked most liked: - the greens and the views.

What we disliked most: - the steep fairways.

We will play the course again in the future, but only on a fine day.

Thank you for an enjoyable experience.

Augusta Greens

Played there last weekend and even though the weather wasn't great the golf course was very well presented. I couldn't believe the speed of the Greens, what will they be like in the Summer! Amazing, I'll be back.

Bad staff

Got up to the course after booking a tee time on golf now and was told that I have to pay again if I wanted to play my round of golf and that my booking on golf now wouldn't be charged but I was. Very bad customer service and I will nebmver be back to play the course again.
