The Links Course at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort is the ultimate in risk-reward golf. The architect, Tom Jackson, routed five holes along the bay and then wound the course inland across rolling undulations. In order to prevail against the blustery Gulf Coast winds, accuracy and proper club selection are essential, making it a true shot-maker's golf course. In addition to being right along the shores of the Choctawhatchee Bay, the Baytowne Marina serves as a backdrop to the course, providing even more stunning views of the Emerald Coast. Of the four championship golf courses that Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort offers, the Links is one of the original two and also one of the most popular. The layout offers a unique links experience that all skill levels can enjoy, especially since it features four different sets of tees.

Pace of play

Played behind two men’s group members foursomes. Pace of play was painfully slow. Watched these guys mark and read absolutely every putt. Man there’s no need to plumb bob and walk around 4 foot putts for bogey and double bogey. It was ridiculous

Average Golf, Nice People

I was matched with 3 members who were all great. Older people. Course is tight and not well suited for big hitters. Members said it was the oldest course in the area. Houses everywhere.

Condition was ok - wasn’t impressed but the more I play in the Destin area the more it seems like just decent is how they all are.

Time for a Renovation

this course is ok, but not what is should be for sure. It's old and it's time for a refresh and a renovation plan. Lots of rough tee boxes, fairways, and bad cart paths.

Greens were soft and slow.

The course has great potential but needs work.

Much better courses in the area, for similar price.

Clubhouse and driving range, look like something from the 80's. Range has no grass and the range balls, were old and rough It's time, for Sandestin to remodel this course. .
