Raven at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort

Beautiful layout. Greens were in great shape even though they looked to have been aerated recently. Not convinced it’s completely worth the price in its current condition, could definitely use some tlc but still a beautiful and challenging tract.

Aeration rate should be lower ( $59?) ,

Tee boxes need grass. Bunker rakes are scarce. No sand in the jugs on the cart. Nice design. The course just needs a little love to be very good.

Good day overall, but several groups including us got caught behind a party of 4 that made it clear they were in no hurry.

We spent more time sitting in the cart than golfing during the back 9.

Course was not in the condition you would expect when you pay 150 dollars and up. Greens were what you’d find at your local municipal course. The cups looked like they hadn’t been changed in many days. The sides of the cups were worn so bad they were hardly round anymore. The practice facility was awful and the practice green was full of weeds. The mid round snack shack was closed and the carts need to be upgraded. I wouldn’t recommend this course. There’s plenty to choose from, don’t waste your time and money on this place.

My first time playing Raven Club was a good experience. Staff was very friendly despite how busy it was. Airline lost my clubs so I had to rent a bag. That as super easy to do and the bad had a descent set of Big Bertha clubs to use.

Everything was top notch. The only issue was pace of play. We couldn't take the carts on the fairways because of rain from the night before so that lead to a 5 hour round

We spent $1000 between 4 golfers to play here on vacation. Great course, very beautiful. We were told three times to speed up our play. We weren’t going slow at all. There was no one behind us pressing either, and we could see the people in front of us finishing the hole when we walked up to the tees.

For spending really good money, I feel like we didn’t enjoy our time to the fullest because we were being rushed the whole time. Other than that, the course was beautiful and it was my third time playing there. Doesn’t disappoint!

Raven is always in great shape. If one does not get the best score, there is always the challenge No. 6- the Island green.

Very friendly staff, from the bag boys to the Marshal. Enjoyed the layout, some greens had some tough pin placements, but who doesn’t want the course to be more challenging 😂. Well worth it to play.

Great layout. Waiting 30 min on the 7th hole to hit a shot. Then every shot from that point forward was 5 to 10 min wait. The ranger said go complain if you want. He was rude. Never have I waited that long for shots. Great condition and great layout but will never comeback because of the wait.

For the price to play the course is in terrible shape. Way too expensive for the conditions of the course. It appears that all they do is mow the grass. The golf superintendent should get out of his office and see how his employees are not keeping the course in good shape. I would not recommend this course to anybody because there are a lot of courses in better condition for less money to play
