About
Located right along the water, Emerald Bay Golf Club was designed by Bob Cupp to be Destin's premier full-service, 18-hole championship course. Water is a prominent feature as the course overlooks the shores Choctawhatchee Bay and incorporates water features on 12 of the holes. Oftentimes golfers will face an intimidating shot across a lake or a pond. Emerald Bay Golf Club's sculpted fairways and tight greens are always in excellent condition. There are four sets of tees that make the golf course accessible to most players' abilities and no matter what skill level you are, the views are not to be missed. The views are especially breathtaking on the back nine, which borders the bay. There is also an expansive driving range at Emerald Bay that golfers can use before playing the golf course.

A must play golf course
I love playing here, it's always fun. The only complain I have is I am still waiting for a restroom to be built at the back 9 . I am a female, so I can't really use the trees and bushes if I am playing with someone.... I don't drink a lot of water when I am playing the back 9, so I don't have to feel the urge of going to the restroom. Otherwise than that, this is a beautiful golf course.

Course in good shape, layout was average, , pace of play was 4 hours 15 minutes which was good. Price was a little high. Staff was very friendly & helpful.

Challenging but fair
A delightful day on a course that is well maintained. Friendly staff and fair challenges on the course. I stayed out of water but love those sand traps. Highly recommend.
